Fated Enemies

Amelia Wright was just starting High School, and was looking forward to it as this was the year all of the Wolf and Human children were forced into the same high school. Not even the Alphas got out of it, as it was an order mandated by the council to bring our Races closer together. Before today, it had just been the Wolf Children in a seperate school, while the Alphas children went to a special school for Alphas only. She hoped to make new friends, as most of the children of the Pack wanted next to nothing to do with her. The future Alpha of the Burning Dawn Pack Roderick Greene, had made it his mission in life since they were 9 years old to ensure she would forever be alone. Not a single one of the kids would have anything to do with her, on his order. Not that the adults believed her when he came home during school breaks, and relentlessly tormented her to the point she was crying in her room alone. Of course, she just hoped that with the Humans in the mix, he would stay far away from her. Every time she had said something even to her own parents, she was assured that he would never do the things she was saying. And because her older brother was the future Beta, she didn't even have that going for her. Everyone expected she would just move away when she found her Fated Mate. This summer however she had finally managed to convince her parents to let her go to a summer camp, so she had been gone all summer and managed to make a few friends. Just as she was about to enter the building, she felt the shove from the side, and smelt the one boy she wished would just leave her alone. "Never forget you are nothing." he said as he stood over her and kicked her in the side. She felt the bruise forming, and knew that even with her healing abilities, it would be days before it healed. "Leave me alone Roderick." she said as she stood up because a teacher was coming. She watched in anger as he stormed off, and she knew that the next four years was going to be a nightmare. 4 years later Amelia was glad that this was their final year, and she had won a scholarship to one school she knew no other Wolf would go. It was one for all of the supernatural Races of the world, and they only gave scholarships to the best and brightest from the Races. It was one of the most prestigious schools there was, and she was determined she would not let anything ruin her chances. She just had to wait two weeks until her birthday, and first change the night after when she would get her Wolf. She hoped to hell she didn't find her Mate in this Pack, as she wanted nothing more than to leave it. She was just glad that Roderick would not be there for either one. He was so busy with Alpha training, he couldn't even keep his head on straight. However she knew her luck wouldn't hold, as Roderick and his girlfriend were leaning against her car, waiting for her to come out of the school so that they could humiliate her one last time on the last day. "Goody two shoes isn't ever going to amount to anything." Becky said with a sneer as she approached. "Atleast I have more ambition than to be the future Luna to the piece of s**t you apparently love." she said knowing that it didn't matter what she said. Even if she agreed with them it would get her beaten up, and she would be glad when this was all over. 9 years she had suffered because of him, and she would finally be free. They all heard the door of the school open, and she scented the Principal watching them. "Scrape your s**t off my car and f**k off." she demanded knowing he was to far away to hear but could see them perfectly well. "You got lucky b***h, but they won't protect you forever." Roderick told her. "Good thing it's only 2 days until my first shift, and than I will never be back here again." Amelia replied as she opened her door and threw her bag in for the last time. "Now scrape your shitty selves off my car before I forget you are there and run you over with it. See if you splatter just like your shitty personalities." she said before climbing in glad that for once they couldn't do anything without destroying the perfect facade as they got off her car and she left them there in the dust. For four years he and his friends had tormented her, bullying her relentlessly no matter what she did. The teachers here had been no more help than the adults in the Pack, as none of them had believed it either. The only one who did was her brother, and now he was even gone at the Royal Wolf college where all future Pack Officers went to learn the duties and responsibilities of their positions. She made it home, and went straight to her room, hoping beyond hope she could make it the next 3 days before she left this Pack forever. Alpha Jason would be shocked beyond belief when she refused to swear loyalty to the Pack, and he would be forced to make her leave a lone Wolf. She had already packed everything she needed, as she changed into her work uniform and headed back out. That evening as she got off of work exhausted, she noticed him leaning against her car. A car that was now completely demolished because of what he had done. "Don't ever mess with someone better than you bitch." he said knowing he could hear her as she walked to him with her keys between her fingers. "Maybe when I find someone better than me I will bear that in mind future fuckwad." she said as she saw an officer approaching on his bike. "Is there an issue?" the cop asked. "No, this piece of s**t won't be bothering me for much longer officer. Would you call a tow truck, it seems someone has destroyed my car?" she asked him. "What is your business here Roderick?" the officer asked knowing there was bad blood between them. It was why this was the car everyone knew about. In 3 days time she would be leaving in something entirely different. "Nothing officer, Inwas just here waiting for my girlfriend when I saw Ms. Wright exiting the cafe and the state of her car." he said with a smug smirk. "Move along than, curfew is in 20 minutes and I will issue a ticket if I catch you again." he said as Roderick Denning began running back to the Pack as the officer called a tow truck. "I will need a statement Ms. Wright." "I drove into work about 3:30 this afternoon, and came about about 3 minutes ago to see this." she said indicating her car. "What was said between you and Mr. Denning?" he asked her as he was Human and couldn't hear what they said. "Nothing that would do any good to repeat." she said with a sigh as he shook his head. He knew what the boy had put her through, but he was always careful never to be caught. "I can give you a ride home, the tow truck will be several hours. Big wreck up on the highway." he said as she nodded. "I would appreciate it, thanks." she said as she sighed.
