prologue
Prologue:
"Aadhya where are you running?" Aadhya's father called her breathing heavily.
"Tomorrow is your wedding but still you are behaving like a small kid running around the house. Please, dear, drink one glass of milk tomorrow you should have enough energy for all the wedding rituals, or else you will be tired" her father pleaded her.
"I hate milk still you are forcing me. Not fare." Aadhya pouted.
"If you love your dad. Drink this milk or else I will not come to your home to see you at your in-law's house" her father threatened her.
" No...no....I will drink milk. Give me that glass " she kept a sad face and drank in one shot.
" My baby is a good girl. I just threaten you for not having your milk. I can't stay without talking to you or without seeing you. I love you dear.... you are the only reason to live after your mom left me " her father kissed on her forehead.
"I love you too dad" she hugged him.

Suddenly someone poured water on Aadhya's face to wake her.
"Dad......" Aadhya screamed loudly when she realized what happened a few hours back.
" Dear.....from now I am your dad. Come outside. For the last time, see your dad's face and say goodbye to him. He is taking to burial grounds." Mr. SusheelKumar said looking at her sadly

" How can I face him when I am the reason for his death. I am a bad daughter" Aadhya cried hysterically.
"Everything happened for a reason. We are only puppets in the hand of God. Please come" Mr.kumar said.
All the relatives and family friends accusing her as she is the main reason for her father's death. Aadhya felt guilty and ashamed of herself.
“ I don’t want any gossip here. I want my uncle's last journey in peace” Adviksaid in a stern voice.
Everyone saw his furious expression and remained silent. Later all rituals happened without any issue, Advik's took initiation as he is the son in law and performed rituals as per Hindu tradition, whereas Aadhya is rooted in the same place looking at his father's dead body.
Gradually, all relatives left the house. Few people went to burial grounds for cremation. Only Aadhya close friend, Kusuma remained with her.

After three hours, the people went to burial grounds returned to the home. Stil, Aadhya was sitting in the same place with a pale face. Kusuma left from that place without informing as it was not a good sign as per Hindu ritual.
“ come inside….” Mr.Kumar called her.
When she didn’t react to his words.Mr.Kumar makes her stand and took along with him inside the home.
“ Go and take a bath. I will serve food to you. From yesterday, you didn’t eat anything” Mr.Kumar said.
Aadhya walked to her room like a zombie as her father's last words ringing in her mind.
She went inside her room and stood in front of the photo where her father holding her with a bright smile.
Later, Aadhya took a hot shower and staring at her father's photo.
“ Sorry, dad I killed you…” she sobbed sitting on the floor joining her knees together keeping her head on it.
After two hours, Aadhya heard the sound of a door knock. She wiped her and opened the door.
“ Dad is calling you aadhya for lunch. Come fast” Advik said looking at her dull face.
“ I can understand your pain. Seeing you in this condition. Uncle never is happy in heaven” Advik consoled her.
“ I agree we barely know each other but we tied in an unexpected marriage. But as a human, I can fee your pain and understand your situation “ Advik added.
I only believe some rules in the life…..
Make peace with the past which doesn’t affect the future.
Whatever others think of you, it doesn’t matter.
Time heals almost everything, give it time.
We don’t have any idea what our journey is all about.
All answers will come when we least expect them.

“ stay strong and try to forget what yashwanth did with you. We will wait for you at the dining table. “ Advik left from her room.
She stared at Advik for few seconds. Then she closed the door gently behind her and followed him silently.
