Stella's P.O.V I woke up to the alarm on my phone ringing. I got up and quickly shut it off. I got up and walked out of my room. I walked over to the kitchen to get some breakfast until I saw my best friend and roommate there with McDonald's breakfast. "Happy birthday, Stella!" My best friend, Daisy, smiled. "Thanks, Daisy," I smiled back at her. "Are you excited for the Vegas trip?" She asked me. "Yeah. I'm finally twenty one," I smiled. "Go eat and get ready. The girls will be here soon," Daisy told me. When Daisy and I were in high school, we had a small group of friends who we all agreed that when we're all 21, we would go to Vegas and celebrate. Since I was the last person to turn 21, it was the time to go and enjoy ourselves. Once I was showered and in new clothes, I checked my phone for any new notifications. Some family members (mostly my cousins) had wished me a happy birthday. My younger brother had also sent me a text. "Any birthday wishes?" Daisy asked me. "Just from my cousins and my brother." "Not your parents or sister?" "Why bother? They're glad I'm gone," I told her. As you can tell, I wasn't in such good terms with my parents or sister. My sister was always the favorite child and my parents would constantly point out my flaws in front of me. "Don't say that," Daisy told me. "Look, let's just get ready for the trip today," I told her. "Right." After we had gotten our bags ready, there was a knock on our door. I opened the door to see our best friends there smiling at us. "Hey guys," I smiled. "There's the birthday girl!" Mallory said. "Happy birthday, Stella," Sarah said. "Are you ready to party?" Sonya asked us. "Yup. Our bags are set and ready to go," I smiled. "Great! Now let's go! It's a four hour drive so we need to get a move on," Sarah said. We grabbed our bags and locked the apartment door. We went downstairs to the car and we put our things in. I put on my headphones as Sarah drove off. After that long four hours of driving, we made it to Vegas. It was already four pm which meant we were on schedule. When we got to our hotel, we checked in and went to the rooms. Luckily, our rooms were right next to each other which let us go into the rooms whenever we wanted. "Let's get dressed and go down to a club," Mallory said. "I agree," I said. We changed into our night club outfits and heels. I was the only one who wore red which made me stand out. "Wait, first, selfie cause we look good," Mallory said. We took some pics before we went out. When we got to a club, it was packed and we got a table. Sonya and Sarah went to go get the drinks as I looked around. "Happy birthday, Stella," Daisy said before hugging me. "Thanks guys," I smiled. Once Sonya and Sarah came back with the drinks, we took a glass and raised it up. "We are fulfilling our promises on getting drunk at twenty one," Mallory said. "Here's to us," I said before we clinked out glasses and drinking them down.
