Battle of the Witches

"There comes a time when every ruler must realize that it is time to step down. The passing of the mantle to a strong witch with a sense of tradition is what is best for the community. That being said it is with a heavy heart that I and the council have decided that it is my time to step down and time for the younger generation to step forward and take their rightful place. So it is now that I am asking all those aged sixteen to twenty one that want to participate in the Battle of the Witches for the title of King or Queen to step forward." The King of the Witches watches as a line begins to form of all those who want to join the Battle of the Witches he begins to shake witch after witches hand. When all of the line has shaken his hand and entered the academy that will now home all of the nominees of the Battle of the Witches he turns and walks in closing the large oak doors of the academy behind him. "Let me congratulate all of you that are begining your journey the road forward will not be an easy one but I would like to be the first to wish you all the best of luck and may the strongest and wisest claim their rightful place," the King says before walking through the crowd and up the imperial stairs torwards the main hall. Two lines formed and entered the main hall in either side of the entrance room following their King to the new life awaiting them.
