Growing up, Astrid felt like she didn't belong and almost like an outcast in her family. She grew up thinking she Was a princess of the fae but didn't resemble her mother or father. As Astrid got older, she longed to go to the Dragons, almost like something calling her to go there. Astrid often got in trouble looking towards the Dragons territory and was forbidden from seeking out the Dragons. She always found it odd that her mother disliked the Dragons when the staff at the castle had nothing but nice things to say about them, so on the cusp of her 18th birthday, Astrid Meet’s Jake, who was friends with a dragon and promised to take Astrid to meet him on her birthday. When Astrid meets Jake’s friend Maximus, her world changed forever. However, when Astrid Discovers who she is, her life is in danger because her mother has been keeping horrific secrets and doesn't want them to come out. After all, the consequences will be the difference between life and death. Astrid will have to trust her instinct’s and make the decision’s that could impact the lives of so many.
