SAMINA:

I woke up and rubbed my eyes opening them slowly and checked the time. Alhamdulillah(thankimg Almighty), I am on time today without the help of alarm!

I gave her an apologetic look and she understood because I had missed our weekend rule, family breakfast because dad goes to work late on Saturday's.

"Let's see how Allah has planned the day for me, for we plan but HE plans best.'

'Every day starts with some expectations and ends with some experience

I went back to my room as fast as I could, brushed my hair, chose some new clothes and checked myself in the mirror. Any need for makeup? No, why should I spoil my natural beauty blessed by ALLAH? Since I had no breakfast, I quickly grabbed an apple and rushed out of the house closing the main door behind me. I remembered that I had forgotten to do something very important.

Rushing back into the house, I kissed my mom on her cheeks and hugged her.

She instructed me to pray and then leave, so I recited Ayatul Kursi before and after leaving the house.

I kept walking until someone kept honking, I was on the right path why was he honking crazily?

Alhamdulillah(thanking Almighty), for being on time today without the help of alarm! Sometimes I keep more than two alarms to make sure that I do wake up. I recited some morning Duas(supplications) and got up from the bed. I woke up my parents and later on dad recited Adhan (call for prayer). He stood in front while us we stood behind on the simple prayer mat, and that's how we pray every day Alhamdulillah. 'Fajr prayer is a blessing, A blessing that reminds us that ALLAH(SWT) chose us to be amongst those who worship Him when the rest of the world is asleep ALHAMDULILLAH.' After Fajr prayer, I decided to take a nap and kept an alarm again, I removed my hairpin and let my hair flow till below my shoulders. I put my hair open, so at least at night, it gets some air but I have a strange habit of sleeping with a hijab(headscarf) on. Sometimes I discard it when it's hot, but I just respect and love this unusual habit since I have been used to it now. I don't usually switch on the AC since I am allergic to it; my headaches when the room cools. But it doesn't get too hot here often so there's no need. ********** That annoying piercing sound of the alarm clock was disturbing me till I snoozed it. I lay on the bed staring at the ceiling thinking about life. This is the best time to think; when I am alone in my room on the bed, and all of sudden I remembered that I had somewhere to be. I jumped from my bed immediately and removed the blanket, folded it and tidied the bed, and then went to get ready. I guess taking a nap in the morning was a bad idea. It's already 10 am Ya Allah. 'My phone rang, what timing!' As I saw the caller's name on the screen, a smile crept up on my face, accepting the call, I told her I'd be there within an hour if Allah wills but before that, I was excited about something else. I was excited to check my w*****d account. I hurriedly opened the app and to my surprise, the number of viewers who saw the first chapter of my first book had increased, and the votestoo Alhamdulillah, I thanked Allah. Never had I ever thought I would even write a book of my own let alone post it. Do something from the bottom of your heart and start something after praying, and then see the amazing results. As I climbed down the stairs I heard a beautiful voice guiding me to the kitchen where my mom was singing her favourite Nasheeds while cooking 'Mountains of Makkah.' I greeted her with a slight smile, "Assalamualeikum mom." She answered, "Waleikumsalam," While continuing to prepare lunch for dad. SubhanAllah, as the bond they share till now, I always adore them, they are my role model. I gave her an apologetic look and she understood because I will have to miss out our weekend rule, family lunch together, which we do it because dad works from home on Saturday's. I felt guilty for leaving her but I told her I'd be back soon and that I was going to meet 'her'. my best friend, I told her that but also Allah had his own plans. "Let's see how Allah has planned the day for me, for we plan but HE plans best.' 'Every day starts with some expectations and ends with some experience I went back to my room as fast as I could, brushed my hair, chose some new clothes and checked myself in the mirror. 'Alhamdulillah I thanked ALLAH again for giving me a new day filled with new opportunities.' 'Be like a tree, no matter how many stones people throw at you, you will always give them fruit .' As I was walking on the street, I heard a car honking. I didn't bother to move aside I was already late. Everyone is free to walk on the street. Again the sound of the horn screeched through the peaceful air and I just got annoyed. 'Who's the annoying driver?' I wondered raising my eyebrows in confusion. Yet ignored the crazy thoughts, I kept moving slowly with fear but didn't dare turn back. 'I am on the right path so who dared to disturb me when I am already late?' These days drivers are so reckless and don't know the simple rules yet they still want to drive ahh. At least he honked but I ignored that part as I was already getting late. My hands were already trembling and shaking. I had so many strange thoughts running through my mind at the moment. Nowadays it isn't safe to walk alone, too many cases of girls being kidnapped and tortured have happened and that has created fear within me, but I just decide to stay calm and handle it. *** Please please vote for me am takin part in the #DREAMEREADERSCHOICEAWARDS Thank you so much
