High school Saga

Mabel came out of the bathroom met her phone ringing but she could not answer on time, she scrolled through and found out that Stacey, her best friend had already called her three times, then she say a text.. " please don't leave without me, I am on my way." Mabel sighed while replying her text " kk" Mabel quickly dressed up, for she had a long journey ahead of her, she opened her wardrobe and sighed again, while collecting the only thing remaining in the wardrobe, A blue jumpsuit with red flowers all over, Mabel stared at the mirror for a long time, she remembered that this was bought for her by her Dad, she recalled how he kept teasing her However, she snapped back to reality when she heard her mum calling her.. she hurriedly combed her hair and tied it to a bun, then she put on a white sandals and fled downstairs without bothering to put on any makeup .. Mrs Roselle looked up from her cooking and smiled warmly to mabel, who just walked into the kitchen. " u look as beautiful as ever dear" " Thanks mom, I'll go load the car" she sighed before taking the luggage outside, just when she finished loading the luggage into the car, she turned to see Stacey come in with a few of Their friends .. They all seem to be carrying Gift boxes and Stacey had a Bouquet of flowers.. " mabel.." Stacey called out as she hugged her dear friend and sobbed loudly.. Maybe received all the gifts and invited them for breakfast, they had a nice time until it was time for mabel to leave.... They all drove to the Airport and after the checking in, It was time to board the plane... seeing as Everyone was trying hard to smile even when the smile was far worse than crying, I almost burst iñto tears, I had just lost my father to an illness called hay fever and ever since then things have never been the same, my mom insisted that we moved far away to another place, even after I pleased with her to just move house instead... but after seeing how she always locks herself up in her room with depression slowly taking over her, I had no choice but to agree, I didn't want to lose my mum as well.. " I'm going to miss you mabel" Stacey said and burst iñto tears as she could no longer pretend to be okay .. Mabel hugged everyone present,one after the other until she got to Stacey her for a while before hugging her for a while with the both of them crying and consoling themselves .. Mabel finally boarded the plane and after a few checks, It took up .. Stacey kept looking Till the plane became a tiny spot in the Air and finally disappeared from her sight before turning to leave the Airport. It's been hours since the plane took off, and I turned to see mum asleep, looking so peaceful, I haven't seen her like this since my father died.. Mabel once again got lost in thought, remincing about the happy days she had with her family of three.. until she finally dozed off. After a few more long hours.. the plane finally landed Mrs Roselle, looked at her daughter who had a smile on her face while sleeping, she shook her head lightly with a smile on her face , she felt like the Air was fresher here than before... " Mabel.......mabel dear....." she called out while Mabel stretched lazily, vaguely hearing her name being called, she slowly opened her eyes asking " Are we there yet" " Take a look" her mom answered she obeyed and was welcomed with quite a beautiful sight, The view of the Airport from her window looked Elating, After picking up their luggage, they took a cab straight to their new house.. It was a really nice place, not too luxurious or too shabby just beautiful enough to call home.. But it's definitely smaller than our Original house and I know that mum must have spent a lot of her savings to get this house.. Mabel and her Mum Quickly got busy , unpacking and cleaning.. Moving definitely has it's good and bad side.. A few hours later , there was a knock on the door, and " he said Mabel went to get it... she opened the door to A boy that should be around her age , he smiled and offered her a single Rose .. Mabel was stunned, looking at the boy in front of her. I held myself from screaming...... he was sooo cute, no doubt ... he's eyes were so captivating we were almost the same height but his broad shoulders looked so sturdy that I was tempted to touch it .. " My name is Victor Andrews and welcome to Tr. County" he said when mabel Awkwardly put down her hand that almost touched him... she was indeed beautiful with those glowing brown eyes but my time to stare was limited as I had to run along... Victor smiled while stretching forth his hand to give her the Rose.. " Mabel Brown" she said taking it from him.. " Thank you " she added Victor had long gone but Mabel still stood at the door for some extra minutes before regaining her composure . She smiled, the journey has just begun.. with a whole lot of things lined up...... New house New neighbors New Neighbourhood New school New teachers New Friends New Everything ... Mabel sighed at the long list going on in her head... She closed the door and went to her room, she carefully placed the Rose in a flower vase.. it looked so exaggerated.. A single Rose in a large vase.. Mabel nodded in satisfaction before picking up her phone and lying down on her bed.. she had to search for a school nearest to the house, but after hours and hours, Mabel was not satisfied with the results she made, the schools nearby are quite expensive while the one that are very far, are not that expensive... if Mabel went to the one close, she may afford it but for a short while.. But if she went to the one far, she'll always be late and she wasn't familiar with the surroundings, she'll definitely get lost a lot.. Mabel sighed and held her head in frustration, she seemed very worried, she stood up and headed to her mum's room Mabel stood at the door and hesitated before knocking, after a few knocks she opened the door and met her mum sitting on her bed and reading a book.. " mum ... what are we going to do now, I know that uve used almost all ur savings u need to get a job and I need to resume school... . " " I know dear.. I already thought about it, so just find a school nearby and resume.... then from Tomorrow, I'll go in search of a job... don't worry urself dear, just focus on your studies and leave the rest to me.." " okay mum since u say so, I'll choose the one closest to the house.. " " That's my girl " seeing my mom acting like Everything will be alright when I know that it's a lot more than we're assuming it to be ... but what can I do, since I can't bring my father back, I can at least try Everything I can to keep my mum happy... Night fell soon ,as Mabel kept tossing and turning on her bed, she worried about how she would cope in a new school, she soon fell asleep in the midst of all her thoughts..
