Chapter 1
Sasha's POV
I was awake with the buzzing sound of the alarm, but I had no mood to open my eyes that I turned it off and fall into a deep slumber again. After ten minutes it buzzes again...Yes, I set at least three or four alarms in ten minutes gap to wake up. It feels soo good that way. But today I overslept and got to be awakened by mom.
"Hey kiddo, get your ass up...you're already running late..." She complained and that time only I checked the time. Jeez...she is right, Jax will be here in five minutes. Jackson Heathers is my boyfriend. I ran towards the bathroom and soon I was ready.
Sasha never takes much time to get ready. She is a natural beauty... Big sea-blue eyes, brown hair, porcelain-like skin, soft lips, and bubbly voluptuous figure...she never applies makeup except for lip balm. Her hair is straight that she often keep it open or in a ponytail. She ran as she heard the honking sound.
"I am coming..." But I was stopped by mom.
"Sasha, You will eat something first then leave..." My mom is very stubborn in these cases. She sometimes acts childish because of over-protectiveness towards me. But otherwise, she is super friendly.
As I don't have the time to argue with mom, I showed a piece of pancake in my mouth and grab a granola bar, then ran to the car.
"I guess you overslept... Hm...I told you to avoid the habit of setting multiple alarms..."This was from Emily, My best friend. Sasha, Emily and Jax, are a trio in high school.
" oh you're also here...Yeah right Em...but I don't think I can easily escape from that habit... Jax, common drive fast, I have physics in the first session..."
"Yes, madam...on your command..." He mocked me.
Jax is one of the popular ones in college, we can say hero of the college. Tall, handsome and hot body...every girl drools at him. But he chooses Sasha to be his girlfriend. The trio were friends from the time Jax joined the high school. Later Jax proposed to Sasha, and she also liked him. And Sasha tries to keep their relationship and take it slow because she doesn't want Em to feel like the third wheel among them.
Emily and Sasha are close friends, must say Sasha only had a few friends, but she is a keeper. But Emily was more sociable than Sasha. She had grey eyes, blonde hair and a good figure.
First session Em and Jax have class together. So I ran towards my locker and collected the books I needed, then turned around so fast that I hit with a broad tall figure. I looked up to see, Tylor Huntsman looking at me with questioning eyes.
When his eyes connected with mine, I paused there and gulped for no reason. As I heard the bell I came to my senses and said sorry while running towards my class. Thank God, I reached on time. Then I saw Tylor and his untitled girlfriend Esther coming to the class. They straight went to the back seats with their gang. They are not on good terms with Jax and his friends. Also, they often hang out with their friends only, do not entertain others, especially us.
If Jax is the hero of the high school, I must say Ty is the king ... Almost every girl in our school had a crush on Tylor. Even me and Emily. But when I came to know Emily had feelings for him, I hide the crush I had for Tylor. Emily proposed to him but was rejected brutally. When Jax joined, he had problems with Tylor and his team. When Jax become our friend, there I got another reason to keep my distance from that gang.
I usually sit in the middle as I feel more protected from the teachers, also will not get the impression of backbenchers. But today while wondering about the ideology of quantum mechanics, I felt like someone was watching me. Not just watching, I felt like I will get a hole in my head if they continue it, so I instantly turned around to see who it was. But I could not find anybody, and when I unknowingly pouted, I saw Esther glaring for checking on them
Oops...I turned around that instant...yes you're right, she is the queen bee here. But we never had any arguments or fights or anything, but I always feel intimidated by her. Especially somebody is looking at Tylor or dating him, she notes them, and show them that he is off-limits for them. Because Tylor dates or sleeps with any girl only once. He never repeats, Knowing all these things too girls throw themselves at him. But whoever he hangs out with, every day we see Esther by his side as if they were a couple. Hm...I don't understand this. If I was her, either he will be only mine or I will throw him out of my life.
Even I don't understand the single thing the physics teacher told, I was not bored by thinking about the bad boy Tylor's team. In between I was drawing a strange place that came to my mind...it was beautiful, yet so scary...I had never been there...but the place feels so familiar to me. As the teacher left the class, everybody was leaving except me lost in drawing the picture. Then I saw the chit chat of Tylor's team as they leave. I unintentionally looked at them, and surprisingly Tylor looked back at me before leaving the class. I was caught off guard that I looked down immediately. Unknowingly I was blushing for no reason... Huh...these hormones...I agree that Ty is hot af...but I have a boyfriend, so I can't drool over him... I blamed myself for it...
But Why do his single look has this much effect on me...?? I was lost in thoughts, then I saw Jax and Emily coming to get me. Then I joined their chit chat...and headed out for our next class.
