| Shadow Country, North Continent | In the middle of the Demon Nation, lies another race's country, the only race that the Demons allow to live with them in the continent. The Shadow Country, where Vermilion Sarion decided to coexist with, together with the leader of the Shadow Country, Sune Sunroe, the Executive of the Shadows. Sune is at the coast of their country since they are at the Southwest of the North Continent, they have to deal with the sea monsters that are attacking in there. While they are fighting, Sune telepathically called Vermilion, Ver, can you help me with these things... requesting her while fighting some sea monsters on the coast Vermilion responded, answering, Yeah, sure, where you at? asking her as she then stood up from where she's resting to go to Sune. Sune answered, We're at the coast below, hurry up. telling her together with the other Shadow soldiers. Vermilion began heading thereafter receiving the location. Vermilion responded to her answer, Okay, I'm on my way... saying while she is jumping over roofs to head to the Coast. Sune responded, I'm hearing footsteps, are you above houses? asking her after hearing the noises of the roofs. Vermilion replied, Yep, I am always sleeping here 'cause it's warmer here. answering while she's on her way. Sune is fighting sea monsters like Vicious Serpents, Red Turtles, and a few more, These kinds of occurrences often happen in the North Continent because of the Demons' auras gathering in one place. They draw their attention to those auras. Luckily for the Shadows, they are strong enough to take down monsters of that level. Vermilion then arrived at the coast, jumping from the roof of the house near the coast. Vermilion thought to herself after seeing the sea monsters, What the hell is going on here? asking as she opens her floating inventory window. Vermilion then took out her Lioness Bow, and shot at the sea monsters that are arriving in the distance, so that the others aren't overwhelmed. *zip* *boom* Killing all the incoming sea monsters. Vermilion telepathically called Sune, Sune, what in the hell is going on here? asking as she jumped down from the roof she was on earlier. Sune then responded, Ver, apparently, these sea monsters attack the continent more often than we know, we just haven't experienced these before. answering her after killing the sea monster that confronted her. Vermilion then said, Well, Queen Saiki should've informed us beforehand... but, not like I can't help in this, in fact, I'm more useful in these since I can fight these things with my bow. arguing as she walks to Sune's side. Sune then conceded, Well, she did send me this information beforehand, I'm busy gathering the soldiers and couldn't tell you since she just sent it this morning. telling her, she then went close to the ocean coast to see how many sea monsters are left. Both of them saw a bigger sea monster up ahead after they looked over, one of the bigger monsters that lurks within the ocean, they also attack with the smaller sea monsters whenever they're aggravated by the Demons' auras. Though... Vermilion aimed her bow at the bigger monster, wind up her attack, using the Lioness Blooming Hurricane, and shot it with the spell. *zoom* *boom* *splash* Her arrow flew in its direction and the bigger monster was killed by it, the blast that the arrow created an explosion, creating massive splashing water, imitating rain above them. The explosion also killed the entire sea monster surrounding the bigger monster. Sune responded to it, That solved that problem, well, I should've just called you for this instead. admitting after Vermilion killed most of the incoming sea monster and the bigger monster. Vermilion then reacted, Meh, doesn't matter now, it happened already, let's just wait for the next wave, or is that all of them? letting it off, asking her. Sune then replied, I heard there are more, at least, that's what the information that Queen Saiki sent me says. not sure of it, she then heads back to her side. The two of them aren't in a current fight so far, because after they had a son, despite being two ladies, they needed to be as mature as they were before, and they can't have a serious argument all the time. After the next wave of sea monsters came and have been killed, mostly with Vermilion's efforts, the sea monsters' waves ended in just two this time, Commander Surgon arrived at the scene to inform them. He landed on the coast to tell them, EXECUTIVE, MISS VER, RETREAT YOUR FORCES, THE WAVE HAS ENDED. informing them as he went up to them. Vermilion then responded, Commander, how is your day? asking him after she saw him went up to them. Surgon replied, ALL IS WELL, MISS VER, WE ARE JUST BEGINNING THE YEAR'S WORK FOR THE UPCOMING WORLD LEADER'S GATHERING, IT IS A LOT OF WORK EVEN THOUGH IT HASN'T STARTED YET. saying as he sighs from the amount of work they need to do. They are the Authorities of the Kingdom Castle. Sune then responded to his reply to Vermilion, Right, that is up ahead, I'm glad we are managing a country, not an empire nor a kingdom, that must be difficult for you Commanders, huh? asking him as she's consoling him. She understands because before, when the World Leader's Gathering allows countries' leaders in, she has to do a lot of work for it as well until the event removed the countries leaders in the event. Surgon said, IT IS, THERE ARE MANY THINGS WE NEED TO DO BEFORE THE EVENT SINCE THEY ARE REQUIRED, OR THE KINGDOM WILL BE PUNISHED FOR NOT ATTENDING A WORLD-SCALE GATHERING, THOUGH THE PUNISHMENT IS A HUNDRED THOUSAND GOLD COINS FOR EVERY LEADER THAT HAS ATTENDED IN THE EVENT, IT IS NOT A LOT FOR US, BUT IT IS STILL A PAIN TO DO SO. explaining as he dreads the process of the upcoming event, as well as the consequences of not attending it. Vermilion then responded, Well, just be sure to enjoy the event once you're done, we'll be just chilling managing our country, call us if you need help, but don't give us a lot of work since we cannot handle Demon level of working. telling them, wishing them good luck, while fearing for their request for help, despite offering it to them.
