    The alarm clock went off entirely too early in the morning. I was used to only getting a few hours of sleep, but sleeping alone had never been as comfortable as sleeping in Lucien’s arms. I crawled over him to reach the clock and turn it off. Thirty minutes to training.

    Getting out of bed, I dug through the drawers until I found my spare training outfit. My normal one had probably shredded when I shifted yesterday morning. I went to the bathroom, then changed, tying my hair back in a high pony tail again, before I left. Lucien walked, groggily, past me as I went to find my socks and sneakers.

    Warrick’s warriors didn’t train as hard as mine. I knew this would only be a light workout before sparring started. He probably already had a couple people asking to fight
