    Ari jumped before spinning back around when he called out her name, finding Adrian back on his feet, his hands pressed to the table in front of him. “Y-yes?” she struggled. With everyone’s attention turned to her, their meeting put on pause, her chest thumped even more. Clearing her throat, “I, um, set out the pastries. I hope you all enjoy them.”

    "Absolutely!” One of the men at the conference table jumped up, running over to the refreshments. He called over his shoulder, “Audrey, Babe, you want something?”

    The redheaded woman responded. “These from the same place as yesterday? Then, yes, I do! You know what I like,” she winked. Ari couldn’t help but smile at their excitement for her pastries.
