“I don’t know what I was thinking when I decided to marry her?” I murmured to myself while looking at myself in the full-length mirror. I was in a black tuxedo that my mom had chosen for me for my wedding. Though she was not happy with what I decided for me and Vanessa, she was still with us and was giving us her full support in everything. She was the most beautiful, caring and, loving mom in the whole world. For me, she meant my whole world.

“You chose this for yourself, William. Now, there is no turning back”, Nathan said to me in a monotonous voice making me roll my eyes. “I know, Nathan…. I know… I can’t blame Vanessa or… or anyone else for this… I know that it’s me who chose this marriage for me. It’s just”, I sighed and rubbed the back of m
