HIS FEELINGS

Keira's P.O.V.

As the last bell of the day rang, I quickly stormed out of university. Enough s**t happened for today. I needed to be on my next part-time job after 30 minutes walk. I am too poor to buy a bicycle for myself. How pathetic my life is? I was deep in my thoughts when I hit a wall and lost my balance. I shut my eyes tightly and waited to get hit by the floor but that didn't happen. I felt someone's hands around my waist and pulled me towards him. I opened my eyes and saw Ryder there. Actually, he was the wall I hit. I blinked my eyes. I had clutched his t-shirt to avoid falling again. It was a few seconds, we were staring at each other without saying anything. It seemed that time had stopped. I saw something in his eyes. Was that some kind of emotion?? I failed to point out what was that. Suddenly, someone grabbed me and snatched me away from him. Before I realized what happened I felt a sharp sting on my cheek. I opened my eyes and saw fuming Meira in front of me. She was the one who slapped me. Before I came to my sense, she slapped me again. "How dare you touch him you freaking b**ch", she yelled.

I had a sharp pain in both my cheeks. I wanted to yell back. But I can't. I have to bear this pain. I just looked at her in disgust and tried to go away. But she pulled my hair back and hit me towards the wall. My head hit hard against the wall. I felt dizziness and the world spun a little.

"What's your problem Meira", Ryder yelled back at her, pulled me towards him. "Why can't you leave her alone", he shouted again. "What if she touched me. I am not your property or any relation with you. So, f**k the back off", He snarled again at her. She looked at him with teary eyes and glared at me one more time and stomped on her foot and left. Here goes my rest of year in hell and I rolled my eyes in the back of my mind.

I composed myself. Rubbing my head where now a bump has risen, I backed away from Ryder's grip and thanked him for saving me. I was too embarrassed to see him in his eyes. I dropped my head down and left from here. I seriously needed to get out of the university today as soon as possible.

Ryder's P.O.V.

I saw her going away from me. I missed the warmth of her body in my arms instantly. What was going on?? Why was I feel like this towards her? It was again her fingers on which she was counting. It attracted my attention when Meira slapped her again. Now it's my turn to save her this time. I hate being the knight in shining armor. But, I felt a strong urge to save her. Before I could do anything, Meira hit her hard on the wall. I froze for a second and then I saw Keira in haze and then I saw red in front of my eyes in anger. I shouted at Meira snatching Keira away from her grip. My heart skipped a beat when her hands touched my chest and clutched my t-shirt again. I secured her in my arms and warned Meira. Then, Keira thanked me without looking at me and went away from me.

I was sitting in my room in the dorm and was thinking about Keira. I am Ryder Blake, the future CEO of Blake Industries. I am going to take over my father's position in the future in 2-3 years. I am a billionaire with a bright future. I can have any girl beside me any time and here I am thinking about Keira. What's wrong with me now. Her only action has taken all my interest. Why?? I came out of my trance with a beep sound from my TV. I stared at the blank screen.

I dialed Kyle's number again and told him to gather everyone at our place.  We had a lead. Now it's time for some action. We are following a gang for quite a time to gain a lead about one of their big deal. Finally, we got this. I forwarded some info to Kyle to gather accurate information. Before taking any steps, I needed to ensure the safety of my team. they are my second family. I stood up from my spot and headed towards the garage.
