    Fresh air does wonders. For now, it seemed to chase away the depressive smog that had veiled Nevaeh’s mind ever since seeing hoochie Miss Daniels flogging Aron’s bishop. Or maybe her mood improved because of the bourbon that Ofa sloshed into their coffee. Grinning, she sipped a little more from her cup, thankful for her cousin's thoughtful contributions.

    In either case, it was definitely a good call on Levi’s part to leave Nicolet Tower. It undeniably helped her focus on the business deal, which they were currently doing at a London park near an outdoor lakeside café.
