Chapter 6: The Villa

Cahaya awakened in a large bedroom with soft, comfortable beds. The walls were covered with pastel-colored wallpapers like rainbows. The bed had a digital sensor that could detect whether Cahaya was wake up or still sleeping. Cahaya wondered where she was. Her last memory was when Cahaya cried until she fell asleep in the arms of Alex, his uncle.

Aya's bedroom combined an ordinary bedroom with digital equipment. It was clear that this room had just been decorated to look more cheerful. A soft beeping sounded, and a hologram appeared in the center of the room, resembling a cute White bear.

"Good morning, Aya. My name is Poo. I am the digital assistant for you created by Alex," said Poo, a holographic White bear, while jumping in the middle of Aya's bedroom.

Aya stared in amazement and tried to touch Poo. So many times had Aya tried, Poo couldn't be touched and was transparent.

"If Aya needs Poo's help, please give the order. For example, if Aya is bored and wants to change the wallpaper, please ask Poo to change it. Give orders like this. Poo change the wallpaper of Aya's room wall into a toy theme," Poo said.

Aya's room wall wallpaper immediately changed from pastel to more lively, with many toys appearing on the wall.

Aya's eyes widened in awe. Aya clapped her hands very hard and ran to touch the wall. Aya's smile was wide.

"Again ... again ..." Aya said subconsciously. She was very curious about what Poo did to the wall. It was her first time to see such wonderful things like this.

"You have to give me orders incomplete and specific sentences, Aya. I will only do your command if I can," said Poo.

"Aaa ... Want…. Again ..." Aya repeated.

"Alex says you need to learn languages to give specific instructions faster. Do you want to study the language with Poo? If you want, say confirm," said Poo.

"Confirm," Aya replied.

"Confirmation is received. If so, Poo will incorporate language lessons in interactions with Aya. Please answer okay," answered Poo.

"Okay," replied Aya.

"Good, Aya. Poo will call the crew to help Aya take a shower. If you can, Aya must take her own bath. If you understand, say the answer, I understand," said Poo.

"I understand," Aya said smoothly without difficulty.

A soft knock came from behind the door. A young crew came to Aya's room and greeted her.

"Let's take a shower, Miss Aya. Welcome to Pullau Villa," said the young crew as she reached out.

Aya welcomed her hand and took the young crew's hand and followed her to the bathroom.

This bathing experience was enjoyable for Aya. At the orphanage, the bathroom smelled of piss. The walls and floors were dirty and dull. The bathtub contained brown water full of germs. Sometimes Aya had soap, and sometimes she was not. At Pullau Villa, Aya went into the bathroom, which was very clean and fragrant. At first glance, Aya could see the reflection of hers on the bathroom wall. There were a shower and bathtub in the bathroom. Fragrant soap and shampoo were available in full. The towels provided were very soft. Freshwater coming out of the tap was very clear transparent. The crew washed Aya clean. Aya could see her skin turning White instantly. Dust and dirt disappeared from her body. Her hair became smooth, silky long, straight. The crew put on a cute bear-themed shirt. Aya could barely recognize herself in the mirror. A tiny princess with a beautiful face, White knit, and rosy cheeks looked at her.

"Now it's time to eat a snack. Breakfast time has passed. So as not to be too hungry, I bring a few cookies and chocolate milk for you," repeated the crew.

Aya had never eaten cookies and milk as well as this. Aya ate it up. The young crew patiently waited for Aya.

"When it's finished, we will tour the Villa so that Aya understands the contents of this room and is not easily lost. Do you want to join the tour?" repeated the young crew.

Aya nodded enthusiastically with sparkling eyes. The crew gave her a hand and took Aya around. The villa was quite spacious for children as small as Aya. If Aya ran around, it didn't seem like anyone will be bothered.

Aya moved to Alex's Villa on an island that had a forest and farmed. It was a suitable place to hide Aya. The access to the island could be by sea or airway. There was one more path that Alex has hidden was the underwater lane.

Inside the Pullau Villa, several floors of the basement area become Alex's technology laboratory room. Some sophisticated transportation devices were also stored in hydraulic hangars in the basement. At a Glance, the villa was a large and spacious 5-floor level building. But actually, the Villa had 10 floors. The top five floors were hidden by access through a secret door behind the wall. Special access was needed to get into the floor. Basement floor access was kept confidential and required special access. The entire island was protected by a protective invisible barrier, complete with camouflage holographic images and a special soundwave to disturbed the digital system in transportation devices to keep uninvited guests away. Aya was invited to join the tour to the five main floors of the Villa. The building was so wide that to surround it, the crew used roller skates or scooters to accelerate mobility. Aya wondered why Alex lived in such a large area with few servants. In the corridor, Aya saw the cleaning robot busy working on sweeping the floor and window cleaning. Most of the rough work was done by robots. The last room she visited for this morning was a large dining room. An appetizer was available on the table. Alex sat and waited there. When he saw Aya coming, Alex smiled broadly.

"Good, Aya has showered. You look clean and beautiful. Now, let's have lunch," said Alex.
