Chapter 24: Matias in Action (2)

Matias entered the elevator to the 24th floor. From the 24th floor, Matias scanned the activity on the 24th floor and 25th floor. Human body temperature was not detected on the 24th floor, except in the emergency stair area. Matias detected activity on the 25th floor. After he gets data of mapping position and enemy number on the 25th floor, Matias climbed to the top floor. He alerted his weapon, ready to fight directly in close combat.

The elevator door opened on the 25th floor, and Matias was immediately greeted by a number of enemies. Matias immediately attacked two people in front of him with electric fists right on the neck. The two enemies immediately lost consciousness and their large bodies fell on their team who was standing behind. This opportunity was used by Matias to advance forward and hit the enemy in the vital part. On the ground floor, David dissolved the remaining employees. Each staff understood how serious the situation was and grabbed their personal belonging immediately. David made sure all his staff left first. He stayed as the last person to leave the hotel. When all the staff had left, David walked quickly to the lobby entrance. Just before David reached the lobby entrance, a police car with sirens roaring hit the lobby entrance and jumped into the lounge.

"Police! Don't move!” It was Joni. He pointed out his weapon, acting like a brave man.

David raised his hand. "Did you come with reinforcements, Police Officer?"

Joni glared at David. "The backup team will come! Now press the emergency button on your desk to call in reinforcements."

David gawked for a moment, then understood that Joni had come alone. "Fine. Immediately."

David ran behind the reception desk and pressed the emergency button that sent a signal to the nearest police station.

Just when the sirens blared from the ground floor, Matias had managed to knock out all the guards in the 25th-floor corridor. He ran to the room where Melati was held captive. Along with Matias firing at the room door, several drones on omega's order broke the window glass with bullets and explosives. Once the window glass broke, the drone immediately entered the room and shoots Angkara and the team in the room.

Angkara and the team in the room were very surprised by sudden attacks like this. The situation was very chaotic. They ran to save themselves out of the room. The opportunity was not wasted by Matias. He immediately grabbed Melati and put a safety belt on their waist. Matias nodded and gave hint to Melati. Melati understood what happened next. David and Joni rushed out of the hotel when they heard explosions and broken glass from the top of the building.

"Go! It's dangerous here," Joni exclaimed to David.

"But ..." David said doubtfully.

"Go, hurry! Save yourself," said Joni.

"Okay, okay. Be careful," said David running away.

Joni moved to the side of the hotel. He felt something approaching from above. Joni looked up. From above, he saw a black shadow that was getting bigger and bigger. There was an object falling down. No, it's a pair of humans with parachutes. Joni recognized one of them. That was Melati. It did not stop there. Another surprise was coming in for Joni. Suddenly there was a light that shocked him from the dark. A black ghost motorwing suddenly appeared before him without any driver.

"Joni?" asked Melati.

"Melati? Are you safe? I came to save you," said Joni.

Matias cursed this situation. Joni's presence made the situation more complicated. He hurriedly took off the parachute and put Melati on the motorwing.

"Where is your car?" asked Matias.

"It's inside the hotel lounge," Joni said nervously.

"Hop on the motorwing. Let me take care of your car. We meet at the airport. Just run the autopilot mode. My Blackghost motorwing knows where to go. Wait for me on a jet," said Matias. He ran to the hotel.

Joni rode onto the Blackghost motorwing. Melati also rode with him at the passenger seat. Black ghost ran at high speed smoothly. Joni felt adrenaline rush. During this time, he only admired motorwing riders from bar stools. Although all this time Joni wished he could ride a motorwing like a racer, he realized that he could never afford it. At this moment, in amazement, Joni enjoyed the sensation of the Blackghost motorwing that went fast in his arm. Oh, My goodness! This was super awesome! Finally, His dream came true. This was Joni the Blackghost motorwing racer in the first position from today's race! This beautiful dream was too good to be true for Joni. If this was a dream, Joni didn't want to wake up again. After Joni left, Matias entered the lobby and threw an explosive device into Joni's car. Within seconds the car burst into flames in the hotel lobby. The fire grabbed the walls and objects in the room, making the fire quite large. The police arrived and immediately focused to call the fire department to put out the fire. In the midst of chaos, Matias withdrew his combat drone and disappeared in the dark.
