Liam Takes Care Of The Commotion

Daniel planned to fight with his wolf form. The man looked at Harriet helplessly while she was still racking her brains again. She still needed to find a way to wake her brother. Daniel started running towards Heath, who was already chained up and held back by dozens of Lycans. While running, the man's body began to transform into a ferocious red wolf. It was smaller than Heath, a giant grey wolf with a black fur pattern down its spine, but Daniel was very fast and fierce. The red wolf jumped onto the grey wolf's upper neck and bit him hard. RAW! HEART! A terrible growl resounded, pushing everyone back, but Harriet stepped forward. "Heath! Hey, you stupid brother, wake up and open your eyes!" About five meters in front of Heath, Harriet was standing straight. Harriet's feet were steady on the ground so she wouldn't be pushed back by the force of Heath's roaring sound. "Heath! This isn't very comfortable! You are a knight; regain your consciousness!" shouted Harriet once more, nearly severing her vocal cords. GRRRR! RRRRRRRRRRARRH! The grey wolf shook its body and broke the chains holding it back. Daniel still held its neck with the grip of his jaw. "Listen to me!" Harriet shouted out loud once more, staring straight at the giant wolf's grey irises. AWOOOOOOOO! Instead, the wolf got even more furious and threw Daniel away from his neck. Now, nothing was holding him back. The wolf stared back at Harriet in the sudden silence. "You need to calm down because I already arranged everything for you, okay? Heath, listen to me," said Harriet in a calmer voice. The wolf gave a low growl but didn't want to hear Harriet's words, for he turned around, about to jump away. "Not again, Heath!" Harriet was pissed off this time. However, once again, just like on the full moon night two months ago— "I told you to listen to your sister, Heath Goldlane," said a familiar voice. As if echoed in everyone's minds, Liam's voice wasn't loud, and he didn't sound like he was screaming. However, everyone could hear him. Like a meteor, the man shot down from the sky, choking the giant grey wolf by the neck with one arm. "So my brother-in-law still hasn't given up after I flicked his snout three moons ago?" The wolf's giant body had to stoop low and couldn't straighten itself because Liam, a slender man three times smaller than its size, pinned it under his armpits. Liam's golden eyes shone bright, terrifying, and cold. HUF! GRRRRRR! The giant grey wolf struggled to wriggle away with its four paws clawing at the ground, trying to back away like a dog whose head was wedged between fence railings. "Don't fight back, you little dog," Liam whispered, which was echoing in everyone's minds again. Liam dragged the giant wolf mercilessly to face Harriet, who was rooted to the spot. This was a very different and yet familiar side of Liam. Harriet didn't know this harsh side yet but wasn't surprised to see Liam had it either. She was just stunned, not ready to see it. "Listen carefully to what your sister says, or I will break your nose this time." Liam's threat calmed the wolf down this time, even though it was still so restless in Liam's grip. Harriet slowly advanced. "Stop right there, Madam, don't get too close. Slow down," Liam said. "I don't know if I can wake him up," said Harriet quietly. "If he doesn't wake up, I'm going to knock him out like before," Liam said flatly. The wolf seemed to understand what Liam was saying and started growling again. But when Liam looked at it with his golden eyes, the wolf began to calm down again. Harriet took a deep breath. "Silly boy, why can't you trust your sister? Haven't you always believed in me?" asked Harriet quietly. The grey wolf looked straight at Harriet. His irises began to waver at the despair on Harriet's face. "Or is it because you never actually believed in me?" asked Harriet then. Silence. "Awoo…" The wolf growled, like pleading in a low tone. "Okay, now I'm serious. Wake up and don't act like this again, okay? Take control of your own body. You're a knight," said Harriet, reminding him of his pride. "Hr-" Slowly, the wolf's giant body shrunk. Its furs began disappearing, and its body returned to an ordinary human. A young man with short black hair knelt on the ground before a relieved Harriet. "I'm sorry, Sister," said the young man quietly. Then he coughed. Harriet quickly came up to him and checked on Heath, who was completely n***d. Harriet checked Heath's neck, which was red from having her husband tightly pinned him there. "You will be alright. I've taken care of everything," said Harriet, her brother's cheek. Meanwhile, Liam summoned the physicians on standby to approach them quickly. "Hot…" Heath said, groaning softly. "My body is hot, Sister..." he whispered and coughed again. Harriet felt it, too. Heath's body was hot as if he had a fever. That was when Liam came closer again and harshly grabbed Heath's chin, who was still confused, half-conscious, and in pain. The man force-fed him a low dose of suppressant. Seeing Liam, Heath widened his eyes and choked. "Drink," Liam ordered coldly, and finally, Heath complied. After Heath painstakingly swallowed the suppressant dose, he quickly became more conscious. But… "S-S-Sister! Ah! Aah! H-he is—" Heath frantically ran around and hid behind Harriet's back, staring in horror and fear at Liam, who slowly began to smile softly. "Mo-monster! Sister! D-don't go near him!" said Heath, a 21-year-old adult, hiding behind his sister's tiny body, who was a head shorter than him. Heath was ready to cry when Liam stepped closer, but Liam handed Harriet a long robe. The man smiled and motioned for Harriet to cover her brother's n***d body with the robe. While Amelia was helping Daniel to stand up and cover his own n***d body after turning back into a human, and while everyone was still speechless, unable to digest what had jus, Liam dusted off the dust on his sleeves and strolled back to the castle. Harriet felt weak and very tired. She turned to Heath, whose face was still pale. He was traumatized by the presence of Liam, who probably haunted his dreams while he was unconscious. The young woman put a long robe on Heath and checked his temperature once more. "Listen carefully," Harriet forced Heath to focus on her. Heath nodded frantically. "You've caught Lycanthropy," said Harriet calmly. Heath furrowed his brows deeply. "Huh?!" "And right now, your Destined Mate is on her way here," said Harriet then. "W-wait a minute, Sister," Heath raised both hands. "What do you mean?" "Good boy, listen to me," said Harriet quickly. Heath nodded again reflexively. "You have to calm down. Don't let your emotions get out of hand, or you'll turn into a wolf again," said Harriet. Heath was smart. If given time, he would be able to understand everything. But at this moment, he had just woken up from what he felt was a long and terrible dream. Of course, under these conditions, his intelligence level was cut in half. Harriet pulled Heath back into his room. And at this moment, Heath realized he wasn't in Western Gate Castle anymore. They were in a completely foreign place. "Where are we, Sister?" Heath finally asked, having managed to cool his head. Harriet turned to him and gave him a severe look. "You got Lycanthropy. Of course, I brought you to the Almandine Duchy." Almandine Duchy, home of the legendary Alpha, Old Duke Rayleigh Almandine.
