Jims arrived at a park. He saw a man with black glasses sitting on a park bench. The man held a white cane in his hand. From the white stick everyone could tell that the man was blind.
Jims walked over and sat in the same chair. The distance between Jims and the man was about half a meter.
"Long time no see. I thought you were dead, Jims," said the blind man.
James chuckled. He leaned back relaxed. Seeing the children playing in the garden cheerfully. Both of their parents watched with a smile.
"I'm not going to die until I have a successor. You already know that, Jims."
Now it was Justine's turn to laugh. The two of them have been friends for a very long time. There are almost no secrets between them. Justine knows Jims well and Jims knows Justine very well. The two are like brothers. Therefore, Justin knew that Jims could not have children due to an accident in the laboratory.
"I know you like children. I also know you are obsessed with having children. But you have to accept the truth." Justine tried to resuscitate Jims. He can only have children if he raises a child from an orphanage.
"I'm still sane, Justine. Don't worry. You know me well. But I'm not lying to you. I do have children." Jims showed Justine a copy of a letter. Jims put the letter on the park bench.
Justine pretending to be blind read it carefully. It was invisible to anyone that he could actually see. Only Jims knew he was pretending to be blind.
"Are you sure!?!" Justine asked.
Jim nodded. "I've met him."
"It's a miracle. I hope things turn out as you wish." Justine got up and walked away. Meanwhile Jims folded the paper and put it in his pocket. He sighed as he watched the activities of everyone in the park.
At first glance, Jims and Justine seemed like two strangers who had met by chance. But actually they did it on purpose so that no one would know of their meeting.
Soon a man came and sat in Justine's place. He lit a cigarette and inhaled it. It didn't take long for the smoke to come out of his mouth.
"Have you heard of the secret service m******e?" asked the man. He is young and handsome. But the look on his face looks older than his age.
"No. I haven't followed them in a long time. What's the point of caring about something that dumped you." Jims was telling the truth.
"But this time I think you'll be sad." The man looked at Jims. "Josh's dead. I know he's like your son."
Jims was surprised to hear the man's words. He felt something hurt in his heart.
"You'd better forget the past. Especially considering that the person who dumped you is no longer around. After all, you grew up with us. Even though we seem like we don't care about each other, we are actually very close."
Jim didn't say anything. He remembered Josh. So far, Josh is considered very competent compared to other generations of secret agents. Jims had predicted, Josh would become part of the secret service at a young age. It turned out that Jims guess was right. But Josh's fate of death is beyond human control.
"Was there an internal problem going on?" asked Jim.
The man shook his head. "He died on a mission. It seems the enemy he is currently facing is not easy."
Jims could have guessed it. Josh was too kind to work in the spy department.
"I told you so. He's too good for a secret service job." Jim took a deep breath. "Okay. I'll visit. You just wait there."
The man looked at Jims. As if looking for the truth from what Jims said.
"I do not lie." Jims looked back at the man beside him.
"Thank you I feel very happy. Okay, I'll go first," said the man. He threw the remaining cigarette on the ground and stepped on it.
Jims could only shake his head. He does not like to see someone smoking and littering cigarettes. But Jims could not rebuke the man. He is Josh's brother. His name is Michael. Both of them have been considered their own children by Jims. Though saddened by Josh's death. Michael tried to stay calm. That's why Jims didn't rebuke Michael for smoking near him.
"Is it time?" Jims said to himself. He got up and walked towards the bus stop. Jims likes to go anywhere by public transportation. He rarely uses a private car for ordinary purposes.
It took about half an hour to get to his house. Because after taking public transportation, Jims still had to walk to his house. Beautiful scenery greeted Jims during the trip. The occasional cough disturbed his composure.
However, not as usual. A luxury car was waiting for him on the side of the road. It was one of his favorite cars. Jims could guess who was driving the car.
"What are you doing here?" Jims asked Thomas, who had gotten out of the car and bowed his head respectfully.
"I've been waiting for you here on purpose. Because the girl is awake. I want you to see her quickly."
Jim was surprised. He immediately got into the car and asked Thomas to immediately take him to the house.
"Has the girl been sober long enough?" asked Jims to confirm his estimate.
"Right. I tried to contact you, but you don't seem to have a cell phone with you." Thomas answered calmly.
"Then what was the first thing that girl did?" asked Jims again.
"The girl woke up. That's all. The eyes were still blank. Then fell asleep again. In five minutes, the girl will definitely wake up."
"Then let's hurry and take me to see that girl. I'm curious about many things." Jim was very excited.
Thomas nodded. He brought Jims into the house ten minutes earlier than usual. When he arrived, Jims immediately went out and closed the door in a hurry. He entered the house and went straight to the secret room.
A beautiful girl is closing her eyes on a luxurious bed. That girl is Jennifer. During this time Jims had done a lot and risked everything to save the girl from death.
Jims sat on the edge of the bed. He looked at Jennifer's face. As Thomas suspected. The girl opened her eyes slowly. For a moment the girl remained silent until Jennifer's beautiful eyes met Jims.
"Who are you?" Ask Jennifer. Without realizing it Jennifer was able to speak for the first time.
"Me? Your father."
Jennifer was surprised. While Jims smiled a little. He called Thomas to do a standard check. He has to make sure all the surgery and treatment goes well.
