After killing most of the kobold in the dungeon, I haven’t leveled up. It seems that the experience needed to level up is a lot. After one more time running this kobold dungeon, I will be able to level up.
To be honest, it wasn’t that bad. Clearing a dungeon once will only take me less than two hours. So, I still got plenty of time to hunt. I also tried to use steal on the kobold. The result is something that I didn’t predict.
「You used 《steal》 on a kobold. 」
「The target didn’t realize anything, steal chance +30%. 」
「Steal successful. 」
「 You have stolen 1x old fur from the target. 」
If the target didn’t realize it, the steal chance got a boost of 30%. I bet that will be a permanent boost since they didn’t notice my existence. However, the thing that I get from a kobold is just a useless old fur. I looked at the item description and I know that it was just trash.
Still, I used the skill to steal whenever I got the chance and my mana refilled. This might be useful later on and who knows if I will be able to steal from a boss monster or not. I might even use this later to steal from a rich bad player. You know, like robin hood. Of course, I won’t distribute the wealth back to poor people. It will be donated to my wallet to help my well-being. I am a poor soul too after all.
Focusing back on killing the kobold, I tried many different ways to efficiently killing them. Stabbing their brain from the back, in-between their eyes, through their mouth going upwards, directly from above the skull, I think the cleanest one is still from the back.
I tried slitting their throat, stabbing their heart, and severing their limbs but the sight is very ugly. The other kobolds realize that something is wrong and goes into a panic, trying to attack the air for an invisible enemy. They are so stupid for doing that but that almost got me once. It wasn’t wrong that people say stupidity is a virtue as they almost hit me even though they couldn’t see me.
Alright, I think that was the last one of them as a treasure chest and a portal appeared in front of me.
Let’s see, is it possible to use lock pick on the chest?
「You used 《lockpick》 on kobold’s dungeon reward chest. 」
「The chest is already been unlocked. 」
「Lockpick failed. 」
Ah, it wasn’t possible after all. Maybe I should just open my neighbor door and windows to gain skill experience.
Opening the chest, I found 5 golds, a dagger, and a skill book. the gold immediately went inside my pocket, the skill book is for 《heal》 which I couldn’t learn due to my class is not suitable. Still, I think that this book could fetch quite a price since healing is a useful ability inside the dungeon. What intrigued me is the dagger which is covered in warm blue light.
「Wolf’s Fang (E rank, rare): Attack +35, durability 150/150. 」
Jackpot! It was actually a rare weapon. There is no special effect on the dagger but the attack power of the dagger that is even more powerful than my fire sword is worthy of it to be called a rare weapon.
If it was sold it won’t be more expensive than the fire sword since there is no special effect but I am happy with the performance since I will be the one using it.
Alright, I will run the kobold dungeon a couple more times. Not just for the experience but for gathering money. Even if the world has been changed and centered around the dungeon, money holds power didn’t change even for a bit. The wealthy are still taking control of world politics. I wonder if I could be super-duper rich one day. Well, I won’t know how to spend it either since nobody cares about me. Whether I have money or not, I am like air for them; invisible.
To be honest I didn’t know that I am happy or not by becoming invisible to others. It frees me from bullying but isn’t being ignored is another kind of bullying treatment? They say that humans are social animals that couldn’t stand the loneliness. I wonder if I am special or I am handling it well by talking to myself inside my mind like this?
I could care less about that. I better move my body and kill some more kobold.

“Hehe, mom couldn’t stop me now. Why she always tried to stop me from entering the dungeon? Don’t she know that I have a special power? My ultra-great shining holy s***h will be able to kill any monster I saw.”
Not far from the kobold dungeon, a child dressed in self-made paper armor and carrying a dead branch of a tree is sneaking around.
“So that’s the dungeon entrance huh?”
Seeing around the location, no one seemed to be guarding it or care about who enters and comes out. The child is trying to enter the dungeon stealthily.
Of course, someone would have noticed that but no one really cares about it. Nobody tried to stop the boy as he approached the entrance.
“Kek! Look at that Boris. Someone is looking for death.”
“Don’t you think that we should stop him, Jacky? I bet if we return him to his parents we will be rewarded.”
“Meh, it is a troublesome task. Not to mention taking care of the boy, we might even be called a kidnapper instead.”
“You’re right Jacky. So, let it be. Whether that boy going to survive or not is not our problem.”
“He won’t survive Boris. I already watched the dungeon from earlier and aside from Damian’s party coming out, no other party entered. It seems that Jeremy failed this time. I already warned him that it is better to pick on dungeon divers that go in alone or in two. Although a party of five like Damian could kill more monsters and carry more valuable but losing your life in the process is not worth it.”
“But I thought Damian isn’t someone that used to kill others. The last time Derek tried to attack him, he was caught and thrown to prison.”
“Anyone can change Boris. Not to mention that the world has changed now. Even a person who put a righteous front like Damian won’t be able to stay his hand out of murder. If his life was threatened, it was inevitable that either one side perish and the other returned victoriously.”
“So, we will just let that boy enter Jacky?”
With an evil grin, Jacky asked Boris: “Eh, what boy Boris? Did you see anyone?”
Boris smiled back to Jacky and answered. “Nothing, I think it was just a fly buzzing around.”

Toby entered the kobold dungeon as no one stopped him from going in. He clutches his head after he arrived. He felt a little bit dizzy because this is his first time be0ing transported to a dungeon. An adult could adapt faster and might not feel anything but it was too much for a little boy.
It was a normal occurrence for someone that is not used to the teleportation system of the dungeon. Just like car-sick and sea-sick. There is a thing called teleport-sick which happened due to being teleported into a dungeon or by using items like a fairy’s wing.
“Ugh, my head. Is this what they call teleport sickness? It feels so uncomfortable. But as a descendant of legendary heroes, this is nothing for me. I should go and look for a monster to kill.”
Toby moves deeper into the dungeon and he soon found kobolds not long after. The strange things are these kobolds are all sleeping on the ground not moving at all.
“Are they really sleeping or they are afraid of the great me and feigned their sleep because they don’t want to face me?”
Toby used the stick on his hand to pokes one of the kobolds and with no effort, the kobold laid spread out on the ground with a wound of its forehead shown and a little bit of blood coming out of it. Looking at that, Toby knows that these kobolds aren’t sleeping.
“Are they dead? The wound on their head must be what killed them. Is this the true power of my death god incarnation aura? Killing anyone from afar before I get close to them? Kuhuhuhuk. As expected, my power is really out of this world. The dungeon divers on the TV aren’t anything much. They look so tired just after clearing a dungeon. Look at me, clearing a dungeon will be just like taking a walk in a park for me.”
Toby laughed as he is too immersed in his own world. The deeper he goes, the more corpse of the kobold that he saw.
“Isn’t my power too overpowered? I could say that I am invincible with this.”
**
I am too immersed in killing the kobold that I actually didn’t realize someone is approaching. It is normal though because anyone can enter the dungeon. This is bad news for me though. What if they took all of the credits of my hard work and get the rewards in the end? This is also why conflict often rises in the dungeon that is not regulated by the guilds of government. If it was managed by a guild, there won’t be this kind of issue as they are from the same guild.
A free dungeon like this one might cause fights to determine the owner of the dungeon rewards chest. Anyway, I could care less. I could just take the rewards before them when the chest appeared. They couldn’t see me anyway.
I look at the incoming intruders and found out that it was actually a boy. Probably eight to ten years old. Wearing a funny paper armor and carrying a walking stick as if it was a sword on his waist. What is this? Since when a boy could become a dungeon diver?
I realize that this boy must be one of those aspiring to be dungeon diver fans. It is lucky for him that I am here clearing out the kobold dungeon. If not, I didn’t know how many lives he got, he won’t be able to make it out from here alive.
Anyway, he wouldn’t be a threat to me so I will just keep continuing hunting kobold for now.

“Finally, some alive kobolds! I could see how great is my power in action.”
The kobolds notices Toby and headed towards him. But a couple of meters before they could reach Toby, the fall to the ground one by one and like earlier, a small incision appeared on their forehead. The wound was due to Kage attacked them from behind. Cleanly killing them while taking advantage of his weapon sharpness, skill, and invisibility cheat. Toby was oblivious to all of this as he thought that it was his power that is killing the kobolds.
“Mwahahaha! Feel that you lowly wolf! How dare you tried to attack the great me!”
Posing with one hand covered half of his face, it seemed that Toby suffered the eight-grade chuunibyou syndrome earlier than his peers. People say that kids these days grow faster and that is why Toby suffered the syndrome already at 10 years old.
“Die you wolf! Suffer the heavenly punishment!”
