The first thing that Lyria noticed was black. The church was built out of black-colored stones. It looked like a huge megalith in the middle of the city. On top of the building, was a spire with a cross at the top. Then there was a splash of red. The red velvet carpet was strewn from where Lyria’s carriage stopped, all the way to the altar. There were a couple of stairs before she reached the main door of the church. Her white glass-liked slippers stepped ever so slowly on the blood-colored carpet. It was a deliberation.
