Rashid unlocked a room down the corridor of a dark hallway. Each of the doors on either side of the hall was made of steel and had what looked like heavy deadbolts soldered into the metal frame.
I turned back when the door in front of us swung open.
Rashid stepped inside first, the lights above coming on automatically.
I followed him in, surprised by how dim the lights were compared to the harsh ones outside in the corridor. He shut the door behind us, locking it and hooking the key onto a small latch next to the door.
He smiled and nodded behind me. “What do you think?"
For some reason, he looked a little nervous.
Turning, I stopped dead in my tracks at the room's contents.
It was pretty big, probably twice the size of my dorm back home. There was so much to look at that
