Shea was still stunned by Sofia's answer. It turns out her guess was right. She really did not expect that she would deal with the mafia.
"Shea!" called Sofia when she saw her still daydreaming in the car.
Shea gasped. Then followed out of the car. They both walked towards the café. Sofia instructed her to sit down immediately while she went to the cashier to order.
She watched her. She smiled slightly to hide her pleasure at seeing Shea still daydreaming. She sat in front of her while waiting for her order to be ready.
"Shea, what's wrong with you? Your face looks pale," asked Sofia, pretending to be worried because of Shea's suddenly pale face.
"I," Shea took a breath that felt heavy as if her fear was strangling her neck tightly. "I just still don't realize that he's a mafia leader."
"I can understand if you're very surprised. But that's just the way it is. He wasn't this bad before. He's changed since our relationship broke down. He takes great pleasure in locking up innocent women to be his s*x slaves. Just like he did with you. He provides luxuries for those who are willing to serve his depraved s****l desires.
"I don't mean to incite you or anything. To be honest, from the first time I saw you, I felt sorry for you. Especially since you were one of the kidnapping victims. You must be very scared and lonely not having someone close to you. If you want to go, I can help you," Sofia said, with a sincere look. She tried to act as well as possible so that Shea would fall for her incitement and choose to leave Marco's life.
"But I saw him kill people very cruelly. I'm afraid that something will happen to you if Marco finds out that you helped me escape," Shea murmured with great anxiety and fear.
"You shouldn't worry about that. Before, I used to help the women Marco had brought home. He did get angry, but only briefly. After that, our relationship was normal."
Just as Shea was about to reply to Sofia, a waitress arrived with their order. She placed two cups of coffee and a plate of chocolate cookies.
Shea watched the waitress leave and then resumed her intention to talk. "Actually, since the beginning of my stay in that house, I was very scared. Even more so after seeing the corpse in the back shed. I didn't have the slightest courage to escape from it."
Sofia smiled as she savored her coffee. Then put the coffee cup back on the table. She grasped Shea's hand, which was wet with cold sweat.
"Oh my! Your hands are cold," Sofia said, showing her surprise. "Are you okay?"
"I'm just scared. That usually happens when I'm feeling really scared or anxious," Shea mumbled and pulled her hand from Sofia's grasp. She hid it under the table.
"You shouldn't be afraid. I will definitely help you if you want to escape from him," said Sofia to calm Shea.
"Then, how can I escape?" Shea asked after a while. She has absolutely no desire to enjoy the coffee or pastries.
Sofia sipped her coffee again for a moment. "We're outside right now," Sofia replied as she looked at the glass wall that showed the outdoor view. "Marco isn't home either. That's easy. You can leave now if you want to escape."
"Are you serious?" Shea looked anxiously at Sofia.
Sofia nodded her head. "Sure. But do you have somewhere to go? I'm sure Marco must know where you live. You'd better not go there."
Shea paused in thought for a moment. "I have an old friend who lives in Avola."
"Then you can go there."
Shea breathed a sigh of relief as she nodded. But the worried look on her face made Sofia furrow her brow.
"What's wrong?"
"I... have no money to go there. Marco threw away all my personal belongings."
"You don't have to worry." Sofia opened her bag and handed Shea two notes of 200 euros each. "This is for you. You can use it to take a taxi there."
Shea was stunned to see Sofia giving her 400 euros for free. Sofia even took her hand and placed the two bills on Shea's palm.
"Hurry up and leave before Marco comes home and looks for you," said Sofia.
"Thank you very much, Sofia. I will definitely repay your kindness," muttered Shea, then got up.
Without waiting for long, Shea hurriedly left the café. She walked quickly to the curb. Waving at the passing taxis to stop.
Meanwhile, Sofia looked at her from the glass wall. She smiled widely as she saw her get into the taxi until the shadow of the taxi disappeared from her eyes.
"You see, Marco. I can get back at you. I can make that damn woman go away from your life." Sofia muttered with a smile. Then she savored her coffee again. "I wonder how long it will take you to find your w***e and bring her back home."

Marco got off the private plane, followed by Alejandro and Bosco, the counselor. The other four followed behind. They walked to the parked car. Marco immediately got into the car with Alejandro and Bosco. The others got into different cars.
The atmosphere in the car was quite quiet. Marco remembered Shea again. He is currently in Bari, where Shea lived before being kidnapped. This is also where the man named Diego, Shea's ex-boyfriend, was.
"Ale, after the business here is done, I want you to find Shea's ex-boyfriend," Marco ordered, causing Bosco and Alejandro to turn to him.
"Did her ex-boyfriend get into trouble with you?" asked Bosco, who was sitting in the front with Alejandro.
"I'm just curious about him," Marco replied while turning his face away, as if he was reluctant to answer for more details.
He had never interfered with the past of the woman he was with. Only Shea makes him feel curious about everything that concerns his life. Only Shea was able to make him not want to have s*x with his woman when he was unconscious. And only Shea could make him not want to linger and leave her alone at home.
"If only I could take her everywhere with me," Marco muttered softly, causing Alejandro and Bosco to glance in the rearview mirror.
