Ch.7 Sofia's Threat

Marco took a long breath as his fear slowly dissipated. He reached for Alejandro and motioned for him to pick up the robe that was lying on the wooden chair. After receiving the crisp white robe, Marco draped it over Shea's shoulders as she rose to her feet. He then carried Shea's limp body so that Shea reflexively put both hands around Marco's neck. The rest of the way, Shea just stood there. She stared intently into Marco's face. The man looked even more attractive when his hair was wet. She felt like touching the neatly arranged hair along his jaw and mustache. Marco took Shea inside. He went into the room that Shea had occupied earlier. Once inside the room, Marco slowly set Shea down. "Get into these clothes. We're leaving in fifteen minutes," Marco said as he pointed to the minidress lying on the bed. There was no protest from Shea. She was silent as she stared at Marco's back as he left the room and closed the door behind him. Shea slowly sat down on the edge of the bed. She turned her head to the side and grabbed Sage's green minidress. Meanwhile, from Marco's direction, as he passed Sofia's room door, Sofia immediately opened the door and called out to him. "Marco!" Marco stopped his steps. He turned to Sofia, who came out of the room and approached him. Now Sofia was standing right in front of him. "Why did you bring her to my room last night? I told you before, it doesn't matter how many women you bring into this house, as long as you don't bring them into my room," Sofia said angrily. She really didn't like it when Marco took women into her room. Especially to the point of wearing her clothes without permission. "You should have taken the garbage out of this room right away," Marco retorted. "I will never empty my room," Sofia snapped. She tried to control the anger in her heart. Especially when she saw Marco helping a woman he had only met last night. Sofia looked back to check the door of Shea's room, which was a few feet away from the door of her room. Then she looked back at Marco. "Have you contaminated my room with your f*****g s*x activities?" "None of your business." Sofia's hands clenched into fists. She tried to hold back her anger at Marco's answer. Actually, she wanted to slap the man's cheeks, but in the end she could only swallow her desire. Sofia pointed her finger in Marco's face. "I warned you..." Marco immediately pulled Sofia's finger away from his face. He grabbed her wrist tightly as they gave each other a sharp look. "You should have taken advantage of the opportunity I gave you. I killed the man you were having an affair with in front of you, but you're still acting like that. I didn't officially divorce you in court because of that damn promise I made to your late asshole father. Not that I still have feelings for a b***h like you." Marco moved his face closer to Sofia's right side. Then he whispered, "Even Shea looks more attractive compared to you," he continued, then he shook Sofia's hand. Without waiting long, Marco walked away. He left Sofia still stunned by his words. *** Shea was busy drying her wavy brunette hair. After she felt it was dry, she curled it. Then she checked her appearance in the mirror. She had applied some light makeup to her face to avoid looking pale. The sage-colored polyester mini dress is quite dreamy from the long sleeves to the partially covered back. The hem of the skirt was wavy. Then the collar was deep V-shaped, revealing her cleavage. After feeling that her appearance was neat, Shea immediately put on cream-colored heels with transparent straps. Shea began to leave the room. Arriving on the first floor, Shea saw Marco already changing. He was wearing a black shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. Marco stopped talking to Alejandro when he saw Shea approaching. "I'll take you to buy the clothes you want," Marco said. He gently rubbed Shea's face down to her neck. "No lipstick marks here," he said, then glanced at her so their eyes met. "Do you need a red mark on your neck?" asked Marco in a teasing tone. Shea immediately slapped Marco's hand. "You'll never make it," Shea replied and walked past Marco and Alejandro, annoyed that he wouldn't stop teasing her. Marco could only smile at Shea's arrogance to cover her embarrassment. He and Alejandro followed Shea outside. As for Sofia, who was now on the balcony, she did not stop watching Shea and Marco as they walked toward the car until they got into the car. As the black car slowly drove away from the courtyard, Sofia immediately screamed in anger. She went into her room. Her hands ripped the blanket and sheets from the bed. Then she threw them on the floor. Sofia let out another frustrated scream as she remembered Marco's words. "I'm not going to let Shea stay here any longer," Sofia hissed with a sharp look in her eyes, as if Shea and Marco were in front of her. "I can definitely make Shea leave this house. I won't take your word for it, Marco. I'm better than her. I'm prettier than her! She's just a naive woman who doesn't know herself! f*****g b***h!" *** Shea watched the street the whole time. She leaned her body toward the door as she leaned back. Occasionally she glanced at Marco, who seemed to be busy with his cell phone. "Did you save my personal belongings like my cell phone, wallet and purse from those damn kidnappers?" Shea asked as she looked at him. "Yes. But I already threw away your bag and cell phone. All I have left is your ID card," Marco replied calmly. "What?! Are you out of your mind? Why would you throw away someone else's personal belongings?" Shea's tone rose immediately. She was already facing him. "You don't need this." "Who doesn't need it, huh?! Did I ever tell you that? You have your cell phone in your hand almost 24 hours a day. Isn't that important?" Shea sighed in frustration. She was very angry at Marco for taking her for granted. "I also need my cell phone to communicate with my friends, you i***t!" "Friends aren't important to you." "You have no right to control me, Marco," Shea hissed. She was silent for a moment. They stared at each other in silence and then she continued. "You're making me dislike you more and more because of the damn restrictions you're putting on me," she muttered and looked away immediately.
