On Wednesday night, I gathered the men in my office for our last meeting before my trip to Greece. It irked me to leave things behind and somehow out of my control, but I had come to an agreement with myself that I couldn't handle everything and still live a normal human life.
I had to rely on others, and I had the best f*cking team watching my back, so that was somewhat comforting. That's why I wanted all of them here tonight, so I could lay down the rules for when I wasn't around.
I wasn't normally out, and when I was, I wouldn't go that far. I was always a few hours away, so I could be back in the blink of an eye if needed. This was the first time I'd be traveling this far, and even though it'd be less than a week, I still worried.
