Chapter 2 : the lure of wealth

 The money worth about 10 billion Rupiah, now being scattered on Agni's bed, for approximately 2 hours,  Agni remained silent watching the pile of money with a blank stare, while thinking about what things he would do with that much money. Then without realizing he gradually laying on the floor and fall aslepp, with the condition of exhausted body. Agni was fast asleep with beautiful dreams that accompanied him throughout the night.

 In the morning, Agni got up and was surprised when suddenly the door of his house was banged on the outside. Instantly Agni hurried to covered the pile of money on his bed using a blanket. Then by acting as usual, he opened the door to see who was the sound of woman calling out from outside the house.

 And it turns out that person is the landlady who wants to collect 2 month in arrears, and rent for the current month. Then with a little nervous, Agni told the landlady to wait a while, after that Agni closed the door. And not long after, Agni immediately come again holding a large amount of money. Then He paid arrears, rent this month, as well as rent for next month. Then without saying much, the landlady just smiled happily, after she took the money from Agni, she immediately went back to her house again. The matter of Agni's rent house is now paid off.

 Agni, who was still feeling dizzy, tried to take a deep breath then let it out. And after that, he began to take action again with the large amount of money he had. He began to tidy it up, partly in a cupboard, partly in an empty bucket in the kitchen, partly under the mattress, and partly in small bags and his wallet. It's such so much money, that he was confused about where to scope it else.

 Agni started paying off his debts to his neighbors and to the stalls food shop near his house. Not to forget, he also sent a large amount of money to the village, so that his mother could seek treatment at a better place routine, and Agni hope she could recover soon. Agni did not tell his mother about where he could get that much money. The important thing is he can meet the medical needs of the mother.

 Agni will take enough money when he really needs it, but in a short time lag, because he always needs it all the time. With that much money, he began to take good care of himself, straighten his hair, buy skincare, doing body treatment, and feel all kinds of medical devices for relaxation.

 Agni also of course immediately repays his debt to leasing and gets her certificate owner of his motorcycle back, so he doesn't need to be afraid of getting his motorcycle taken again. Now there will be no more phone calls from debt collectors who always disturb him before.

 But when he saw his motorcycle, there was another desire that settled on his mind, which was he want to have a four-wheeled vehicle. Therefore, he started learning to drive, he chose the most expensive car driving course provider in the city, so he could quickly become proficient.

 Then do not forget he also bought a lot of good furniture, so every day there is always a package sender passing by to his house. And that makes a neighbor who always tease Agni, so silent a thousand languages and just gawk, seeing Agni's life conditions that suddenly change, with a lot of coming good stuff and luxury stuff..

 Agni bought a large TV, Playstation 4, refrigerator, washing machine, and did not forget he also bought active speakers, so he could also play songs at a loud volume every night, even louder than that of his neighbors. Now Agni rarely comes to work and has even been declared resign from his place of work, now his daily life is just lazing with all the luxurious facilities he has.

 Nearly 1 month has passed since he got that large amount of money, the longer Agni was getting bored living in his small rented house, so he decided to buy an apartment and live there, along with all his luxury furniture, and his billions of money. The car that he usually parked in a special parking lot rental place, now he can park in the basement of the apartment.

 If he feels bored at home, he will go out to the mall, going to eat on fancy restaurants, or to the cinema, while buying every food available at the cinema, he watches and spends hours, even the movies he has watched can he watch again and again.

 Agni truly lives freely without anyone being able to forbid him, with the money he has he can even do anything, including making things easier. However, over time he began to feel bored with such a lifestyle, there were screams from within him that now he seemed to have no purpose in life, and his soul seemed empty, he also became so rare to give people who are live poorly, like before he always does. He seemed to be drunk by wealth. even though his life is better, but his heart always feels empty and meaningless. Also, he always feel insecure about his life he living right now, because he realize that the money he had is not belongings to him.

 Therefore, it began to occur in his mind that he needed a life partner. So, he immediately Agni looked for his old cellphone (because his cellphone which has now been changed to be more sophisticated) After found it, at the bookshelf. Agni starts to activate it then reopens the Finding application.

 He was very happy because the application was still installed on his cellphone. Then without lingering he immediately want to open the search field, but it can't be open because the 3 remaining key to open it has been used, so he can no more use it. Well that's make Agni feel terrible, because he can buy anything, but he can't buy true love with his money. Then he just throw the cellphone to floor, after that he laying on the sofa. In his mind, he really want a best match for him

 Actually with that much money he have, Agni can just get a beautiful wife like whatever he wants. But he does not want a wife who only sees himself from his appearance and wealthy, he really wants a wife who sincerely loves himself as he is.

 Long story short, to killing his time and escape the bired condition, Agni decided to go for a ride with his motorcycle, along the road of the city to get some fresh air and amazing view. Agni immediately rushed away, wearing ordinary clothes, and driving using his motorcycle, which was parked in the basement of the apartment where he lived.

 In short, he riding along the way with no destination. Suddenly, heavy rain soaked Agni's entire body when he was on the road, while experiencing it, Agni saw a bus stop that was occupied by several people who were taking shelter. Immediately he turn and Arriving there, Agni just parked his motorcycle on the side of the road, then ran to take shelter at that bus stop.

 Even though he felt cold because his clothes were soaking wet, he try to acting usual as nothing happen to him, he looking for a chair to sit, but every chair has been occupied, so he had no choice but to stand still in there, with the gesture of pride that he feels he dont belong on this kind of place with all the ordinary people, because Agni feels he is so special now, that he is more higher than anybody who now looked poorly on his eyes.

  But suddenly, someone stood up from the chair, it's one old man who sit behind Agni earlier. That old man pat Agni back, and then invited Agni to sit in his chair, because soon he would be picked up by his relatives. With a sincere smile the old man led Agni to step back and sit down. This suddenly made Agni a little stunned and amazed, because the person he just looked at poorly, turned out to give him genuine kindness, so Agni felt bad and realized that his attitude had changed a lot for the worse, and that ultimately made Agni be aware.

 However, time is still running and the rain has no sign of stopping yet. Now it's only three people left on that Bus stop, namend Agni and a woman with her baby. Agni thought the rain is more decreasing now, so he decided to leave, just when Agni decided to leave the bus stop, suddenly a bus came and dropped off a passenger there, a young woman whose age was not far from Agni, with straight black hair tied, long pants and a neat shirt she wore. The woman looked very beautiful and innocent, so that made Agni a little unnerved.

 Then, because the weather was still in a state of heavy rain, the woman decided to sit at the bus stop, right next to the mother who was still holding her baby. At that time the baby was up and crying quite loud. Making things awkward for Agni.

 But suddenly, the woman who had just arrived, interacted with the baby's mother, then she entertained the baby, and invited him to play peekaboo. Looks like she is the type of woman who is easy to get along with children, and really likes children, so she can freely play and entertain children, and make the cry of the baby turns into joyful laughter.

 Agni who saw that was just stunned, he felt a spark that arose in his heart, which could not be explained in words. Then when the woman began to look at Agni, suddenly Agni immediately looked away in the other direction, feeling nervous.

 A few moments later, a bus came to the bus stop, and it turned out that the bus had been waiting for by the mother who was carrying the baby, so the mother immediately said goodbye and then went aboard the bus, to go to her destination.

 Now, there are only two people left at the bus stop, namely Agni and a woman whom he has not yet known. Because the rain still hadn't really subsided, so they still couldn't get away from there, then things got even more awkward when they stared at each other, then they both turned their gazes to the other direction.

 Sweat began to run down and wet Agni's face, he felt very nervous. Then suddenly the woman opened her bag and pulled out a tissue to give to Agni, and that immediately made Agni surprised.

The woman said, "Here, don't sit over there, the roof is leaking."

 It turned out that the woman saw water dripping from the roof above Agni's head, so she thought that the water that had soaked Agni's face came from the dripping roof water, not from Agni's sweat.

 Then while receiving the tissue, Agni said. "Thank you very much."

 "You're welcome." The woman answered with a smile. And the smile was so sweet, to the point that it made Agni's sweat run down even harder.

 "I ca- can i got more." Said Agni.

 "Oh, of course." The woman then gave more tissue to Agni.

 Then after wiped his sweat, Agni started up the courage to introduce himself, "My name is Agni, if I may know, what is your name?"

 "My name is Linda, Linda mayangsari." The woman answered while shaking Agni's hand.

 "Oh, good name." Agni said with a smile.

 "Thank you... Are you from near here?"

 "No, my home is far away from here... I'm just passing by here when the rain happen, so now i'm stuck here." Agni answer with a smile. Then he continued, "So where are you come from?"

 "I just go back from my workplace."

 "i mean, your residence?"

 "Oh i, live near here. But now it still rain, so i decided to stay a while in here."

 "Oh i see... So, umm, everyday you took the bus to go to work?"

 "Yes, it's cheaper with bus." Said Linda whispering, then she smile.

 Then the two of them chatted at length at the bus stop, accompanied by rain which flushed most of the Bandung city area at that time. Agni and Linda talked about their residence and work, Agni lied a little about himself, Agni told Linda that he lived in a rented house and he worked as a factory employee, but the truth is not, while Linda said she also lived in a rented house and she worked as a cashier in a supermarket.

 Linda's rented house is not far from the bus stop, and can be reached on foot, but because the conditions are currently raining, Linda was forced to take shelter first at the bus stop. Then after the rain began to subside later, Linda will leave.

 Until finally the moment Linda was waiting for arrived, now the rain had begun to stop so that Linda was able to leave the bus stop to go home. Then without thinking, Agni immediately offered to help Linda to drive her home safely.

 Initially Linda refused, with the excuse of not wanting to bother, but because Agni insisted, then Linda was willing then pillioned by Agni using his motorcycle to Linda's house. And after the two of them had arrived at their destination, Agni shyly tried to ask for Linda's contact number, which was then immediately given easily, which made Agni feel happy. Then Agni rushed back to his house with mixed feelings of excitement, just like when he got 10 billion.

 Since that day, the two of them always exchanged news through the Chat application, asking about their activities and preferences. Every day there is never time left for them to send messages to one another, Linda always give nice response to Agni's question, and always makes Agni feels warm heart. The more day has passed, finally Agni also increasingly knows that it turns out Linda does not have a boyfriend or lover, and she also does not have both parents (She's an orphan), so she barely lives alone since teenager, but with these conditions she still lives happily and cheerfull.

 Agni always escorted and picked Linda from her workplace, even though Linda had refused because she didn't want to bother, but Agni insisted he wanted to do it happily.

 During work hours, Linda always waits on the roadside right in front of where she works, and Agni always arrives on time to pick her up. On one day, When Agni arrived, Linda asked him.

 "Have you eaten yet?"

 "Not yet." Agni replied with a smile.

 "Let's look for food first, I'll treat." Linda said.

 "Ah no, let me treat."

 "No need, today is my payday." Linda continued to insist so Agni could no longer refuse.

 Linda felt bad because she continued to receive kindness from Agni, so she also tried her best to repay the kindness. In fact, Agni was the first man to pay this much care and attention to her, because the others men who was close to her had never been do that before, and most were just playing around to Linda.

 Occasionally, Agni also invites Linda to go out to dinner at a fancy restaurant, or just walk around enjoying the view of the city or the other beautiful places around Bandung. Until the longer the two of them became closer, the sweet feeling begin to spark, then there was so much love between them.

 Linda's nature, which is always carefree and caring, makes Agni feel comfortable and be very fond of her. And vice versa, Agni's faithful nature to protects her and is always there for her, making Linda feel the figure of a guardian and true life partner for himself, whom he loves and he wait all the time.

 They both are a pretty harmonious couple and can not be separated. Both of them always try to understand each other, and thus creating a sense of affection that is so strong. Although there is a big secret that is hidden by Agni to Linda, namely about the residence and circumstances, which Agni have enough money that can not be imagined by Linda at all. Agni decided to tell Linda when the time was right.

 But there is also one thing that he don't know yet, which is where the money came from, and how the 10 billion worth of money could be where Agni found it? That will be answered shortly. A bigger and more dangerous thing will soon happen to Agni, which is something that has to do with the money.
