"Load them carefully, Seth," Herman instructed, as he handed him yet another pipe filled with the volatile goose. They had been working all afternoon in Herman's workshop assembling the pipe bombs. "Treat them gingerly. Remember, one little slip and we will both receive a quick trip into the hereafter."
Seth nodded in agreement, carefully placing the last pipe into the leather shoulder pouch. Just one more day left to wait. They were making all of the preparations they could make and now Seth knew he was ready. He just hoped that their efforts would not be too little, too late.
