After the whole brake scare, we loosen up and start swapping stories like old pals at a weekend BBQ. You'd think we've been buddies for ages, but it's only been a year since we really clicked. Between my Luna duties and moonlighting study to be a surgeon, Chiko's got her Luna stuff, and Rose is basically the boss lady of warrior women. Getting all of us in one place at the same time is like herding cats, but now we succeeded in making it happen because of Huiwi's threats.

"We'll soon we will be entering human territory, and after passing through this area, we'll reach the border of Black Amous Pack," Chiko announces as she driving smoothly.

"Oh, that's not too far then. I remember feeling like the journey from Black Amous Pack to Blue Sapphire Pack was incredibly long when we carried Leah's body," I reminisce.

"You rescued Leah in the human territory here, right? Because you were heading towards the forestry hospital near our area. Is that correct?" Chiko inquires.

I nod in agreement.

"Yes, it felt much faster in the car. On foot, it would have been a different story. But if we want to speed things up, we can always shift into werewolf form and run through the forest; there's a shortcut. It would only take about half hour to run from the border of Black Amous Pack to Blue Sapphire Pack." Chiko continue.

"Hmm, in that case, after we all give birth, we can take turns. Sometimes Kaylie and I will run to Black Amous Pack, and sometimes you'll come to Blue Sapphire Pack. Deal?" Rose proposes, extending her hand.

The three of us clasp hands and shout in unison, "Deal!"

"Sounds like a good plan to meet up with you ! But let's hope we don't end up in a race to the delivery room!" I quip, eliciting laughter from Chiko and Rose.

"Yeah, can you imagine us sprinting through the forest with baby bumps?" Rose chuckles, mimicking a comical running motion.

"I'd pay to see that," Chiko adds, grinning mischievously.

"Hey, maybe we'll start a new trend: werewolf maternity runs," I joke, envisioning the absurdity of pregnant werewolves racing through the woods.

"Who knows, we might even get sponsorship deals!" Rose exclaims, playfully raising her imaginary trophy.

"Alright, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Our priority is getting to Witch Melda's house in one piece," Chiko interjects, steering the conversation back to reality.

"True, but a little humor never hurt anyone," I remark, grateful for the laughter amidst our journey.

We enter the border territory of the Black Amous Pack. A warrior dressed in a black robe approaches our car; he's the guard of this border. Chiko rolls down her window, and the warrior salutes immediately.

"Salute, Luna Chiko."

"Salute, warrior."

"Why are you back so soon? Where's Alpha Gabriel?" he asks, peering towards the car.

"Alpha Gabriel is still in a meeting at the Blue Sapphire Pack. We're heading to Witch Melda's place. Could you please ask one of the warriors to show us the way to her house? I'm not familiar with the route," Chiko explains.

"Of course, Luna. I'll personally escort you. And if you don't mind me asking, who are your companions? So I can report to the chief of the border."

"Oh, right, sorry, I forgot to introduce my friends. The one sitting next to me is Luna Kaylie, and the one at the back is Beta Female Rose, Both of them are Luna and beta female from Blue Saphire pack." Chiko says warmly.

Chiko doesn't require excessive respect despite being a Luna.

"Alright, just a moment, Luna. Please pull over the car, so I can report to the post for a guard replacement, and then I'll join your car to show you the way to Witch Melda's house and Former Beta Davis," the young warrior says as he walks towards his post to report.

The warrior leads us to Witch Melda's house, and the scenery along the way is breathtaking. The beauty of Black Amous Pack is simply stunning. As we drive along, we're greeted by the sight of a crystal-clear river flowing gracefully beside us, its waters shimmering in the sunlight. On the other side, there's a vast expanse of fields, alive with the vibrant colors of countless flowers swaying in the breeze. It's like stepping into a picture-perfect postcard, where nature's wonders unfold before our eyes. If Blue Sapphire Pack is known for its modern vibe, then Black Amous Pack is all about nature's beauty, here, it's all about embracing the raw and unspoiled beauty of the outdoors, reminding us of the magic that lies in the simple things in life.

"Wow, this view is something else. It's like my eyes are on vacation," Kaylie says, clearly impressed.

"Yeah, it's my first time wandering around Black Amous Pack. Usually, it's straight from the border to the meeting hall during the annual female beta meetups here. But gals , this place is gorgeous," Rose adds.

"Thanks, gals. Black Amous Pack may not be as flashy as Blue Sapphire, but our natural scenery is top-notch. We've got mountains, clear rivers, and fields of flowers that'll make your heart skip a beat," Chiko explains proudly.

"Haha, Chiko, you're like the queen of Black Amous Pack's tourism board," Kaylie quips with a chuckle.

"Well, someone's gotta do it. And Kaylie, you're like the Queen of health minister showing off all the fancy tech at the Blue Sapphire hospital, when I visit you for the first time. " Chiko retorts, teasing Kaylie right back.

As we continue our journey, the laughter always fills the car, blending seamlessly with the serene beauty outside. It's like nature itself is joining in our joyous banter, painting the perfect backdrop for our friendship. Despite our busy lives and responsibilities, moments like these remind us to appreciate the simple pleasures and the bond we share.
