Chapter 6 : Oliver

 When the monster show it’s true form to Kevin, In an instant, the atmosphere of the restaurant, which was initially quiet, turned chaotic and noisy, because the chef who had turned into a monster immediately tried to chasing and attack Kevin, but Kevin was always able to avoid him while continuing to beat and s***h the monster's body by the knife, and even though Kevin tried so hard to be able to injure the monster, but it turned out all the attacks given by Kevin had no effect at all on the monster's body, every punch and cut from Kevin couldn't even make the monster's body budge, all of it really didn't work and was useless.

 Until finally, the monster managed to hit and kick Kevin's body until he came out of the kitchen. Then, Kevin, who was still in pain, didn't want to let his guard down and continued to launch attacks to the monster, but still the Monster could always reverse Kevin's attacks, so Kevin's body was getting hit again and again untill it injured. Then, Kevin, who was already feeling overwhelmed, immediately took a wooden chair and slammed it into the monster's body until it shattered, but still the monster didn’t even shake.

 What happened next was even more dangerous, because the monster managed to grab Kevin's neck and threw Kevin on the table until the table fell apart. That's when Kevin realized that his decision to act alone was a mistake, especially when he had been hit many times but his power still hadn't awaken, so Kevin worried that he would die before he could meet Christa.

 After finishing beat up Kevin, then the monster stood up Kevin's body, it looks like the monster decided to start eating Kevin, because he immediately opened his mouth wide in front of Kevin's face. Meanwhile, Kevin, who was already helpless, couldn't do anything to escape this dangerous situation.

 Kevin thought that he was going to die a second time, but the truth was not. Because suddenly, there was a creature that grabbed and pushed the monster, so Kevin's body was immediately released and then collapsed to the floor. Then with a vague glance, Kevin saw the figure of the creature that had just helped him.

 In a state of weakness and almost fainting, Kevin tried to see the figure of the creature that had come to help him, even though his vision was vague.

 The creature that had come to help, turned out to be also a gargoyle monster whose body was slightly larger, with hair flowing backwards that were sharp like thorns. Kevin did not think there would be a monster gargoyle that would help him from the threat of the gargoyle monsters who run this restaurant. Now The two gargoyle fought fiercely with their claws and fangs, both of them assaulting each other fiercely.

 Then while attacking, the chef who became a monster asked. "Why are you helping that person ??! We can eat it together! ” Said the chef monster.

 "I don't eat humans." Answer the gargoyle that has helped Kevin.

 "What?!!" The chef monster was shocked.

 Then, the monster who rescue Kevin started to give his final attacks, he fought with a very deadly muay thai move. He kicked the opponent's body with all his might, then several times landed attacks from his elbow to the opponent's face, so gradually the chef monster began to become overwhelmed and exhausted. So after that, with one strike from its claws, the chef monster's body was successfully stabbed through its stomach untill penetrate its back. And that caused the chef monster to die immediately and collapsed on the floor, a few moments later his corpse was burnt to ashes, while the horns were left lying there, but over time, that thing will also melt by itself.

 After that, Kevin continued to pay attention to the spiky-haired monster who was helped him, and now walking toward his body, and when the monster's hand would reach Kevin's body, Kevin's eyes immediately closed completely, because he was completely unconscious.

 Long story short, it was getting late at night, surprisingly Kevin woke up in a strange place for him. Kevin opened his eyes with a feeling of surprise, Because at this time he was in a dark room, and his body was lying on the bed with injuries, but all the wounds had been treated and bandaged. Therefore, Kevin felt surprised and amazed, then he looked at the clock in the room. The time showed that it was already 8pm.

After that, Kevin rushed out of the room, he slowly walking into the living room that blends with the kitchen room. Apparently Kevin was in someone's apartment room.

 The place where Kevin is currently is a middle class apartment building, although the apartment doesn't look luxurious, the conditions are quite comfortable to live in.

 In the kitchen room, Kevin saw a man who was cooking a soup dish in a pot, then the man also cut some vegetables and put them in the pot. The figure of that man looks stocky, with red clothes, and long black hair that is tied up.

 Then when the man saw Kevin was awake, he immediately greeted Kevin and spoke.

 "Oh, hey. Good night ... Before you go home, I want you to eat first."

 Kevin was silent for a moment, when he suddenly greeted by the man, then Kevin asked a question.

 "W- who are you?" Asked Kevin curiously.

 "My name is Oliver ... I'll tell you about what happened this afternoon, but first you have to eat with me."

 "W- what?" Kevin was surprised.

 Long story short, Kevin was already sitting at the dining table, then Oliver served him a bowl of soup and rice, for Kevin to eat, and of course Oliver would also eat with Kevin. Even Oliver also convinced Kevin that the food he was serving was safe for consumption and not made from human ingredients at all. As Oliver said that when Kevin finished eating, he would explain what had happened to him.

 Therefore Kevin started to take the spoon and eat with Oliver, Kevin and Oliver ate the dish with gusto, as if nothing had happened. Then, after they both finished eating, Oliver started telling Kevin about what happened at the restaurant before.

 "You can start telling me about yourself first." Tell Kevin to Oliver.

 "What?" Kevin asked in disbelief.

 "How can? But the gargoyle monster really likes to prey on humans."

 "Yeah that’s true but, there are also a humans vegetarian, right?" Said Oliver.

 "Ye, yes, but how do you do so you can resist the desire to prey on humans?" Kevin asked earnestly.

 "So, what are you? Are you a human or a monster? " Asked Oliver curiously.

But it looks like that girl named Christa is a monster hunter who act on her own accord. "

 "Yes, I think so. My goal right now is to find Christa. Let me know if you have any information about her ... So do you have pen and paper?"

 Then Kevin wrote down his phone number and give it to Oliver, so they could reach each other. Oliver looks really admire Kevin because he feels a great power in Kevin's body, besides that he is also interested in Kevin's life which seems to be involved with bigger things.

 A few moments later, Kevin left the apartment where Oliver lived, he took his motorbike which was parked on the lower floor of the apartment, then he rode the motorcycle back to his house. On the way, Kevin was amazed because he could meet a monster that was different from other monsters, Oliver seemed to be a good and trustworthy monster, but Kevin could not fully trust Oliver so he had to stay alert.

 Then, when he got home, Kevin stood near the front door, sighing. Kevin prepares to get scolded by his mother again, and sure enough, as soon as he entered, quite loud screams began to be heard. The scream came from Kevin who got a welcome hit from his mother, because he came home so late at night.
