Chapter 30 : Siege and Edgar

 The whole city is chaotic like disaster is happen, Kevin and his friends are busy facing various types of monsters that are very dangerous, they all seem very overwhelmed. Meanwhile Oliver, who was busy beating up the monkey monsters, was suddenly startled by a car that was thrown at him, so the place where Oliver's standing immediately exploded after being hit by the car crash. But fortunately, Oliver was fine, thanks to the armor he used, his body defense became stronger so he could survive the car crash.

 After that, Oliver walked through the flames, he looked at the creature that had thrown the car at him, and it turned out it was a crocodile monster that could stand on its two legs, it had sharp fangs, deadly claws, and muscular hands. When he looked at Oliver who was walking towards him, the crocodile monster immediately took another car for him to throw at Oliver.

 But Oliver quickly ran while avoiding the impact of the car he was throwing, so Oliver could approach and attack him. Then Oliver fought the crocodile monster. All of those monsters were being handled by the military who came to the scene with their artillery equipment. So there was a war between the humans and the monsters.

 Meanwhile, Kevin, who was shooting the leech monsters on the streets, began to look in all directions with a gloomy face, because he seemed to experience de javu when he was in the same situation, or more precisely when the monster's apocalypse happened. But luckily Kevin immediately realized, that this was not a monster apocalypse event, but all this chaos could have happened because he had indirectly led Roschi to find the NeoGen facility building. Therefore, at this time a feeling of anger and guilt arose in Kevin's mind.

 "Kevin, don't daydreaming !!" Shouted Christa, who surprisingly slashed the giant leech behind Kevin's body.

 Then Kevin, who was going to help, was suddenly shocked by a mysterious laughter that came from a distance, so Kevin immediately looked here and there to find the origin of the sound. And it turned out that Kevin found someone standing alone in an alley, the mysterious person was seen wearing a robe and he kept laughing while watching Kevin.

 So with curiosity, Kevin tried to approach the person, while saying, “Sir, are you okay? Come with me. We're going to a safe place. " Take Kevin.

 But that person instead ran away from Kevin, so Kevin, who was surprised, immediately chased after him, because Kevin was worried if that person would be attacked or captured by monsters.

There Kevin was still trying to find the whereabouts of the mysterious person, but he found something very surprising. Because it turned out that there was a man who was lying facedown in the middle of the basketball court and was unconscious.

 Therefore, without thinking, Kevin immediately came over to help the poor man. After getting close enough, Kevin tried to wake him up.

 "Sir, what happen to you? Sir, wake up. " Kevin shook his shoulders but the man still didn't get up.

 So Kevin decided to pick him up, so he could take the man to a safe place. But suddenly, an astonishing thing happened, when the man's hand that was being carried by Kevin suddenly grabbed Kevin's neck, so it Kevin felt pain and surprised at once. Then Kevin immediately threw that bad man down, so he could survive the strangulation of his neck.

 And it turns out the figure of that person is Edgar, who has disguised himself as a helpless human victim. He had tricked Kevin, and after being thrown down by Kevin, he immediately stood up laughing.

 "Hahahhah ... Turns out you are very easy to be deceived, huh."

 "Who are you? ... Akh! " Kevin felt pain in his throat.
