Chapter 10: What a Coincidence!

"I kill you now!" Andrew shouted, jumping at Raymond, crashing into him mercilessly.   "Wow, easy, man!! Stay cool!" Raymond exclaimed in panic.   They were both busy playing wrestling on the floor until they got tired. Sweat was pouring down Andrew and Raymond's body. They indeed were close friends.   "I'm done! Please stop! I'm tired!" Raymond said, struggling, successfully holding Andrew's hand, pressing Andrew's body with his knee.   Just then, Raymond's hands were wet with sweat, suddenly it was slipping, and Raymond's body hit Andrew's body hard. It happened so fast, less than one second. Andrew did not have time to do anything to avoid it.   I gaped to see this scene happening.   Andrew and Raymond's lips were wet with sweat, collided violently, and still clung to each other without the two owners' slightest desire.   People who saw this had to be misunderstanding!!! They would think that Andrew and Raymond were kissing!   "Andrew ... Raymond ..." I said, not knowing what to say.   My other classmates were immediately freezing, seeing this!   "YUCK!!!" they shouted together in disgust.   Raymond and Andrew immediately threw their bodies in the opposite direction and spat.   "Cuuuh !!! Cuuuh !!! "   My classmates spontaneously turned amused. Everybody laughed out loud.   "What a lovey-dovey act!!" teasing one of the guys in my class.   "SHUT UP!!!" Andrew and Raymond exclaimed in unison.   I also laughed out loud. I couldn't hold my laugh any longer.   "Now, you know how I feel being teased by you guys," said I kept laughing.   "Damn," said Raymond, rubbing his lips roughly.   "Forget it!! Please forget it, everyone!!" Andrew snapped, blushing. He immediately ran out of the classroom to the lavatory as fast as lightning-like, chased by rabies dogs.   I was still laughing at Andrew. I felt so satisfied. I came to think of it. I was also evil. Well, that's what we called the law of karma. Hahahaha!!   Oh, my!! I was so happy.   "Here, have a drink first," I said, amused as I offered my drink bottle to Raymond.   Without further ado, he immediately downed its contents and gargled.   "Thanks," said Raymond, forcing himself to smile, but failed.   "Yeah, cool," I said, still grinning.   "Oh, please stop laughing at me. It was so embarrassing," Raymond said, blushing. He took my book and began to fan, awkwardly.   Andrew returned to class shortly afterward. His face was wet with water.   "By the way, has your class seating arrangement been determined yet?" Raymond asked coolly to Andrew as if nothing had happened. He tried to distract my attention with other topics.   "Yes, already. I sit in the middle. With a girl. What is her name? I forgot," said Andrew.   "Well, that's a good position. I sat in front of the teacher. I can't sleep in the class with my seating arrangement. Eh, where are you sitting, Mi?" Raymond asked me.   "I don't know yet. You remind me to check it. Wait a minute, I'll see it first," I said, taking the class seating arrangement map that was lying on the teacher's desk.   Deg!   How could I see it wrong? I retraced the map. And once again ...   "Where is it, Mi?" Raymond asked.   "Beside him exactly," I said, pointing at Andrew with a disheveled face.   "Huh, are you sure about that?" Andrew asked incredulously.   "Buahahahahaha, what a match," Raymond shouted, laughing again.   "Shut up!!" Andrew and I shouted in unison again.   Ding-Ding!!   The school bell rang. Raymond hurried back to his class.   I put my lunch box in a bag. Starting the next day, my story and Andrew's would continue ... ****************   A week had passed since the beginning of the school period. The lessons had begun to solid. Homework was piling up, and the lectures were endless. The teacher repeatedly reminded us that we were diligently repeating lessons at home so that it was easier to follow the class lessons. I could only listen to that advice with boredom.   It was boring to listen to the lecture every day.   Throughout the lesson, I drew something more by myself in my textbooks. If my hands didn't move, I thought I could fall asleep.   That day was tiring. Sports lessons took place on a scorching day. I had to run until my breath felt like I was going to explode.   I was not the type of person who loved sports. Believe it or not. But, my stamina ran out quickly. Soon my breath was panting, and my feet were like logs that needed to be dragged.   After sports lessons finished, the math lessons began. I really couldn't concentrate. Along with the teacher's explanation, I couldn't absorb the experience at all. I stared blank, and I almost fell asleep. Also, the classroom was cramped and smelled stinky because of sweat. It was not conducive to learn anything!   "Yes, then now you are working on page 25 from numbers 1 to 10," said Mr. Adi, a mathematics teacher.   Ouch, what was that about? There was nothing I couldn't do. I flipped through the paper to see an example. I looked at the patterns for a long time, and then I understood the contents. I started to work on number one. My hand movements were prolonged. I was exhausted, so it was hard to think.   "Are you finished?" asked Mr. Adi to the class.   "Not yet, Sir," said a classmate.   I haven't finished question number one yet. I tried to concentrate on doing number two, but no matter how hard, I thought my brain was indeed clogged. Finally, I could only look at those questions without being able to do anything.   "Hey, don't stare at the questions. Do it," whispered Andrew.   "Yeah, so fussy, you know?" I complained softly.   I tried to concentrate on working on the questions. Andrew was working on number nine. He did it very smoothly. How smart he was!   "Okay, I believe that you finished doing the exercise. Please come forward and write down your answer on the blackboard. I will call Handi number 1, Tasya number 2, Word number 3, Michelle number 4. Come on, hurry up!" said Mr. Adi.   Wow, unlucky me! I just did number two. I didn't do the number four yet. How was this? The teachers were usually angry if there were wrong or couldn't work on the questions in front of the class, especially Mr. Adi. I could get scolded like this.   "Here, take my book. Hurry up and go! Do it there," Andrew whispered to me, swapping his book and mine in a quick motion.   I couldn't help but take the book and rush forward. Other classmates had also come forward. Some people looked panicked and tried to copy the work of friends who had finished, just in case they were told to do it in front of the class.   I copied Andrew's answer on the blackboard as fast as possible. I could no longer think whether the answer was right or wrong. My head was blank. I had a brain fog at the wrong time. Hopefully, the answer was correct.   "Thank you. All answers were correct. Furthermore, Rita number 5, David number 6, Fitra number 7, Reza number 8," said Mr. Adi.   Pyuuh!   I took a deep breath of relief, and I sat down again.   "Thanks a lot, Andrew," I whispered.   "You're welcome," Andrew answered with a grin.   I did not expect Andrew's help. At the crucial moment, I was helped by Andrew. He was a kind friend. I didn't think it's fair if I kept getting angry at him.   Maybe it's time to make up. At least for the time being, I could see a little of Andrew's kindness. Just a little, you know, not much. Just a little ...   ********************* A month passed by so quickly. The class seating arrangement changed again.   I sat with another classmate, not Andrew anymore. Even so, Andrew sat right in front of me, so he was still close.   "Eh, we will have a midterm exam soon. Why don't we have a preparation study together? What do you think? Is it a good idea?" said Raymond during a break in class.   "I think that's a good idea. When will you start?" I asked.   "Mm... we can start on Friday after school hours. I think there will be not much homework for Saturday," Raymond suggested.   I nodded to Raymond.   "Okay, deal," answered me.
