Devdas stood upright in front of her with an outstretched hand and on his left shoulder was the figure of the Alpha sticking his fangs into Devdas' neck, hitting a large vein in his neck. Devdas grabbed Alpha's head with both hands and threw the wolf which was almost twice its size into the trees. At the same time, the flesh of his neck and shoulders was also torn off. Blood from large vessels spurted out like a fountain, splashing red liquid everywhere including Delisha's face and body. The woman was bathed in fresh and warm blood. Delisha astonished and stared at her own body which was covered in the viscous liquid all over. The liquid on her skin glistened red in the moonlight.
A wolf pounced on Devdas from the right. Deftly one hand gripped the wolf's jaw and his left hand gripped the beast's neck with all its strength until it broke. The wolf whinnied weakly, limped, and flew into the air. It then fell to the ground. In Delisha's vision, it was a human figure and Devdas easily killed someone with his hand. The wolf that fell to the ground turned into an ordinary human body, without any aura or appearance because it was dead.
Wolves are never afraid when they start fighting. A wolf pounces on Devdas again and bites him in the ribs. With his two hands, Devdas crushed the wolf's neck and threw it at the feet of the other wolves. Devdas' ribs were tt along with the black suit he was wearing. The bony bumps and pink flesh were clearly visible. Together with the sound of death and the smell of fresh blood, Devdas' shredded body still stood tall and his eyes were burning towards the wolves.
"Do you intend to exterminate your entire pack this time, Soumya Kapoor?" accused Devdas. "Don't the refugees and the pounded meat not fill you up anymore?
The Alpha rose from the ground and limped together with the rest of the group. "Devdas Star Tailes ... we meet again," he said. "Why are you interfering in my business? I am only avenging the death of my mate and this woman is a potential successor!"
Devdas interlocked his fingers to make a rhythmic chattering sound. "Do I have to explain everything I do, Soumya? I don't have that much time. It's quicker to finish off you than to hear me talk."
"Tch!" The Alpha spat.
"This time I let you go because I still respect your ancestors. Once again you dare to approach this woman, I assure you I will hunt down your entire clan and skin you one by one to make doormat for my feet."
Two wolves carried the bodies of their comrades on the shoulders and followed behind the Alpha. "Damn you, Devdas!!" scolded the Alpha as he moved backward with his pack and disappeared behind the trees.
Devdas turned to face Delisha, who sat on the ground. He approached the woman with unsteady steps. He lost a lot of blood and had wide-open wounds. His originally sturdy body became shaky. He looks at Delisha, his Chandni. Under the moonlight, her skin that was splattered with blood still looks beautiful in his vision. Her brown eyes glistened with fear, he still missed it. He wants to be with that woman and look her in the eye until he closes his eyes.
"D-Devdas ...." Delisha said softly.
Only a faint smile on his lips. His eyes were closed and Devdas collapsed with his head in the lap of the woman he always missed.

“Devdas?” called Delisha while shaking the shoulders of the man who was lying facedown on her lap. The wide wound on his left shoulder almost separated Devdas' arm and shoulder. The wound on his right rib kept gurgling, blood soaking her feet and the ground beneath. Delisha panicked and didn't know how to stop the massive bleeding. “Devdas, please, don't joke on me! You can’t die, are you?” Delisha's voice trembled against tears. No answer from Devdas.
She turned the man's body with great difficulty due to his weight. The moonlight was enlightening, Delisha could see that Devdas' face was turning white. His lips and eyes were tightly closed. The black shirt he was wearing was torn by wolf marks and bites, it felt moist with blood. She checks the pulse on Devdas’ neck and feels none. She placed her ear to the man's chest to listen to his heartbeat, but heard nothing.
Delisha rested on her knees on top of Devdas. “Devdas, please, open your eyes!” she begged pitifully and haltingly as she gave repeated pressure on Devdas' chest, her savior. She openned Devdas’ mouth and gave an artificial breath. This was done alternately and repeatedly. Blood was still flowing profusely from the torn ribs. Like a leaky water bag, Devdas' body continues to weaken as it loses its contents.
“Devdas, wake up! Open your eyes! Listen to me, open your eyes!” she snapped, tears streaming down her cheeks. The man's body was still and icy cold. Delisha squeezed Devdas' chest hard while cursing him, “You said you could cheat death, you declared you were immortal, where is the proof? You're a fraud!! Damn it!”
Exhausted by pumping Devdas' heart for a few minutes, Delisha collapses and falls on Devdas's chest. She clenched her fingers and beat Devdas in the heart while whispering, “I don't want to live with the guilt of being saved by you, bastard. Did you hear that, you bastard?”
There was a small jerk in Devdas' chest several times and a soft cough sound was heard, “Cough, cough ... should you curse the person who saved you?” said Devdas weakly, but still curtly. “You ignorant slave.”
Delisha lifted her head from Devdas' chest to look at the man's face. Devdas's eyes flickered weakly like they were sleepy. “I lost a lot of blood, I need to get it replaced, so I can recover soon,” he announced in an indistinct mumble.
“Do you need blood?” Delisha asked, moving to her feet from Devdas' body, but the man held her. Her waist is clasped and her arms are gripped. “Are you planning to leave me here?” accused Devdas of being disappointed with her. The man's face almost frowned, perhaps, he looked strange because the muscles in his face were too stiff for expression. “You lost a lot of blood ...” Delisha said anxiously. Devdas's eyes locked onto hers. Being on top of that man's body and pressed against his body, in the silence for a few moments, they clearly heard the sound of their heartbeats shouting.
“Can you hear my heartbeat?” Devdas said hoarsely and adjusted his neck due to the position of the wound. “I have everything in this world and as long as I live in this world I try to forget you, I thought I had forgotten you, but I never could.”
Delisha was stunned with unblinking eyes staring into those pitiful gray eyes. “Now I know why my heart was beating for and what it said,” Devdas whispered. “I need you, want you ... and miss you ... always.”
Like the tidal movements of the sea that are aroused by the moon's gravity. Like animals that aroused by the phases of the moon for reproduction, such a pair of longing creatures following their natural response to release passion. By touching each other.
Devdas pulled Delisha to his chest and took a strong sip from her lips. Her lips tasted of blood from his, blood that had splashed all over her face and body. He embraced Delisha’s body as if merging into him. He wanted they become one and inseparable. He knew she was trying to fight back, but he wouldn’t lose. He strengthened his grip and gave the kiss more intense, forcing Chandni to understand his despair.
Memories of Devdas tenderness and how he craves for her makes Delisha unable to fight him. Devdas ... she calls silently, hope Devdas hears and stops the kiss. “Give me a chance ...,” muttered Devdas then immediately crushed Delisha's lips repeatedly. Devdas broke the kiss again for a moment and looked into Delisha's dark eyes. “... at least until I recover ...,” he said and then returned to kiss the woman.
Feels strange, but hard to stop. A compelling kiss, but Delisha returned it without objection. Her eyes were closed, just like Devdas. Her lips and tongue moved to Devdas' rhythm. Did this guy have s*x for 50 years on earth just for this? Conquering her body ... and also her heart?
Without removing his lips from Delisha's, Devdas pushed her body to lie on the ground, confined her body on one hand, while the other hand traced the curves of the subtle body. Long, icy fingers ran under her T-shirt to feel Delisha's warm, soft skin. In the mouth, his tongue explores every side it can reach. His body tingled and warmed rapidly, causing him to let out a heavy groan. Devdas released his kiss to take a breath and heard his name called weak in a state carried away by his touch, Devdas felt a pleasant rustle in his chest. “Devdas ...”
“Haan, mere Chandni ...” he said and then traced Delisha's cheeks and jaw while licking the blood splatter on the surface of her skin. The taste of his blood drenched the woman's body, and he enjoying it to such an extent, Devdas did not mind being injured and wasted again.
Devdas rested on his knees and bent down to kiss the woman beneath him. He stroked the crook of Delisha's neck with his tongue and kissed her so strongly in several places that it leaves a red mark. When his hands cupped the two lumpy, solid bumps under the woman's shirt and squeezed them gently. A moan of pleasure escaped Delisha's lips. Hearing that voice, Devdas felt that for the first time he had done the right thing. He pushed Delisha's shirt and bra to see the area he touched.
Two protruding breasts with hardened peaks, perfectly round like the full moon that night, even more beautiful, he could touch and suck the small protrusions. Devdas immediately took one peak into his mouth. He needed it and would die if he didn't drink it, sipping it like a little spring in the middle of a barren desert.
Delisha couldn't control her body. She gazed gloomily at the moon in the night sky. The moon no longer fascinated her. Her views were closed with petals shaking softly at the touch of Devdas. Her spine arched against Devdas' chest. Her delicate hands traced the man's body and one of them was wrapped around Devdas's shoulder. Devdas knees open her legs. Delisha raised her left leg and let out a weak cry. The pain from her ankle brought Delisha to her senses. Her eyes were wide open.
“Hmm …?” sighed Devdas without removing his mouth from Delisha's breast. He was satisfying his thirst and hunger for her.
Delisha's eyes flickered, and she immediately groped Devdas body, ribs and shoulders. No more serious wounds on the man's body. Her skin was completely covered as if there had never been a wound there. Only his shirt remained damaged, showing that there was once a wound as massive as the jaw of an adult wolf. Delisha hurriedly pushed Devdas. “Devdas!” She said half snapping.
“Yes, my Chandni, what's wrong?” muttered Devdas. The man straightened up. His wistful eyes were drunk by the charm of the woman beneath him.
Delisha fixed her clothes. In Devdas eyes it was like a stage screen that was lowered because the show was over even though he had not yet reached the ending. He wanted to snort in annoyance.
“You're already healed ... it seems since earlier,” Delisha said as she shuffled out of Devdas's confinement.
Devdas looked at his shoulders and waist, which were healing completely. “Oh!” He exclaimed curtly. “Faster than usual,” he scowled, “it must be because I was too excited, ehh ...” He shook his head weakly in disappointment.
Delisha gave the man a dubious look and dragged her butt away from Devdas. Devdas crawled over her. “Chandni, don't go away from me ....”
“Come on, Devdas, enough! I don't want to continue!”
“Why?”
“Yes, why?” there was a voice. Mr. Takur, the genie guarding the banyan tree crouched under the tree, looked at them. “It's a waste if you guys don't go on. I'm not here to bother you.”
“Huh? Mr. Takur?” Delisha was flabbergasted. “Why did you show up? Insolent! Why didn't you help me earlier?”
“I ... don't like violence ....”
Delisha scowled at the old man.
“Mr. Takur? The tree genie?” Devdas turns to the banyan tree and at Delisha in turn. “Is he here?”
Delisha stared in surprise at Devdas. “You ... can't see him?”
Devdas shook his head. “I lost the ability to see other beings when I turned to be human.” Devdas hurried to his feet and walked towards the banyan tree. “Where's the old man?” he growled, “He has a lot to explain to me!” With his hands on his hips Devdas paced under the tree, not seeing that Mr. Takur was right in front of him.
Delisha stood limping and stumbled with pain in her left leg when she moved. “What's wrong with Mr. Takur?”
“He saw everything happened, but still refused to tell the truth!” snorted Devdas without turning to Delisha. The bad dream comes back to haunt him. “He saw who killed you, but he didn't want to tell it. When I came back here after escorting you to reincarnation, someone had cut open your stomach and took your baby. I'm sure your baby was still alive then, but this old man won't open his mouth either.”
Delisha was shocked and didn't know what to respond when she heard it. He stared disappointed at the half naked old man. Mr. Takur looks nervous.
“I planned to investigate, but the supervisor rushed to pick me up and take me to trial. I was not given the opportunity to finish my business. The Chairman sentenced me and immediately dumped me to earth. It really makes me sick!!”
Delisha half ran up to Mr. Takur and the man stepped back and leaned against the tree. “Say it! Quickly tell me, who killed me!” snapped Delisha.
Devdas was silent, looking at Delisha. In his vision, the woman was talking to a tree.
“A-anuradha,” Mr. Takur stammered. “Rajputana executed the woman, along with the concubines and shamans who helped her.”
“And my baby?”
“Sorry, I can't tell. My mouth has been sealed and on this tree my soul is sealed, that's why I can't leave. He can come to me and kill me.”
Delisha was silent with a deep frown.
“Why?” exclaimed Devdas. “What did he say?”
“Mr. Takur can't say,” Delisha replied. “Said someone sealed him.”
Devdas was immediately angry and punched the banyan tree until it trembled and the leaves fell. Mr. Takur sat limply at the root of the tree.
“Zourdan .” shrieked Devdas angrily.
