Anita looks at Bifta nervously. Then she says with her movement, ‘The Emperor can’t know what I ask of you.’
“Why?” I keep my gaze on the small girl, who is actually way older than me. But maturity-wise, I feel like I am way more of an adult than her based on how we carry ourselves.
She fidgets and bites her lips a lot. I don’t feel like pushing her to hurry. In fact, it’s interesting to see Darilus in the presence of this girl.
