Cressenda lunged at her at the speed of light. Or perhaps, she appeared much faster than she truly was due to Seraphine's blurry vision. Seraphine let out a breath just a fraction of a second before she stepped to the side, avoiding Cressenda. She had only another fraction of a second to hit Cressenda with her kneecap in the gut.
The crunching sound coming out of Cressenda's mouth was a wonderful symphony to Seraphine's ears. She then followed by elbowing Cressenda's nape with her left arm.
