Something Red.

—————- Seasons. Especially the wet season, which Laura finds intoxicating. A season usually referred to as, 'The lovers season.' As the rain drops heavily outside the cafe Laura stands in, so does the moon shine brighter than any amount of light turned on.  Just staring at it all brings a smile to her face, as something red creeps on her cheek with the extent of her smile. Laura furthers, taking her hand out the secluded place she kept it in her grey jacket, raising her fingers to the droplets of the enticing rain.  "Boo!" Laura yelps, as the sound of fear escapes her light plump pink lips, pushing her into the outlets of where the rain pours heavily and out from the shade she is in earlier. "Georgia!" Laura, who is now already drenched in the rain exclaims at her best friend standing under the shade, and laughing her best at her friend's predicament which she caused.  "Oh my God...oh my goodness Laura, you're going to be the death of me!" Georgia still in her laughing phase speaks.  "You're going to be the death of me! You literally pushed me in the rain." Laura still in the rain getting more drenched, yells at her friend, not due to anger but the heavy sounds of the rain.  Still yet, she could depart from the rain and into the shade, but being Laura, she enjoys the beating of the droplets on her skin.  "And you're literally staying in there, come in here." Georgia advises her friend, whilst other people walk pass them and into the cafe, each with their umbrellas and if not, running bare to take a shade, but not before passing the two women a glance. She is an adult of course, in fact a thirty year old female smiling and relaxing in the beatings of the rain, but to Laura the glances didn't matter, as what she cares about is her own happiness, even when it is said that a French lady must be prim and proper.  Laura doesnt bother to say another word, as she walks closer to her friend and in instant, pulling her by her wrist and into the rain with her.  "Laura Eduoard!" Are the first words to slip out of Georgia's mouth, as it is now her friends turn to laugh this time.  The blue skirt and white tucked in shirt Georgia is wearing, now soaked as she tries to land Laura a beating with her hand. One thing Georgia is famous for, apart from her having a great first impression and her sanguine nature, is her sharp hands at smacking the next person that troubles her.  "Ow... Ow... Georgia....okay I'm sorry." Laura averts some of her beatings, whereas she still chuckles. "Please stop," Laura pleads, as this time Georgia pardons her and stops.  Georgia watches her friend in awe as she still chuckles lightly. She watches her friend's chest heave up and down, while her laughs depreciates. Her beautiful friend, with black curl locks, her long lashes, fair skin and well sculpted face. Her thick eyebrows now furrowing a bit with flushed red covering her cheeks, as Laura seems to notice the unexplained stare Georgia is giving her, yet to Georgia, she has a heavy message in her heart she need confess to her friend.  "What is it? Do I have something on my face?" Laura asks, with a worried stare, yet, with a smile.  "No, no not at all. You look perfect." Georgia tells her friend truthfully.  "Then what is it? Why do I feel you have something to tell me." Laura speaks gently as their stance stay close to one another.  Georgia takes in a breath, before biting her lip painfully, not knowing how you give your best friend such a wonderful, yet saddening news at the same time, but she knows she has to tell her. She needs to hear it, especially from her own mouth.  "David proposed. I'm getting married, Laura."  -----------------
