Alyssa’s Point of View: First Day of School

“Okay. Alyssa, think of Carson, think of Carson.” Oh, BTDubs, my boyfriend since 8th grade is Carson Summers. “What to wear, oh, what to wear?”

As I was getting my clothes on, I started singing to Beat It by Michael Jackson, really hoping my sister would wake up so Carson could drive her and I to school in an hour.

I pretended to be asleep, and personally, I think it worked. Anyways, the reason I had to pretend was because Alyssa is obsessed with Michael Jackson. She started singing Beat It like it was no one’s business. I have to admit, she is better at singing than Ariana Grande, but I didn’t want to turn her into a cocky girl, more than she already is.

She has almost everything to brag about: she’s pretty, she has the hottest boyfriend on the basketball team, she has all A’s, and she is the cheer team captain. One more thing, she had the voice of an angel. When it came to rock, gospel, R&B, pop, retro, rap or country music, she could sing it. Ok, so I also am pretty, hence the twin part. “Hey, babe.” I said as Alyssa hopped in the car with Ava.

“Hey,” She said with a giggle. “can you pick up Ava from school today? Our parents are in Toledo and--” I cut her off.

“Don’t worry, babe, I don’t have practice today, anyways, so it’s totally fine.” We reached the school and hopped out.
