THE GIRL HE FELL FOR AT FIRST SIGHT

BOOK 1- THE PRINCE OF LIGHT

CHAPTER 1:

“you don’t look good, ma boy”- the general said looking the young warrior‘s face. The young warrior turned to face the general only to see him smirking at him.

“If you do all the night watch by yourself, that’s what you get you old fellow.”- He scoffed back.

The warriors of light have been travelling for eight days now. They have crossed the blistering desert, the daunting sea and now the intense forest. All of this to meet the lords of darkness living in the other end of the world of gods. It was not an attempt to meet their old friends but to taunt their natural enemies sharing their own world.

“You should be aware that I, the prince of light, who you should bow down, have been your night watch. If this news reaches my father, you shall be guillotined before next sunrise.”- The young warrior said with a hint of mischief in his voice.

“But I know you wouldn’t let it happen, would you? After all you are not like your father; you are more kind, humble….”

“Now, enough of that buttering. You better return me the favor, by buying me some time from father and not allowing him to notice my absence and that’s an order.”- The prince cut him and ran towards the green of the forest before the general could finish his words.

He ran towards his white Pegasus, which was silently feeding itself the grasses.

Hey, my boy, ready to explore the land of darkness?”- He asked his Pegasus after mounting it. The Pegasus roared towards the clouds as answer. They touched the sky and bolted forth. As the prince of light advanced forth admiring the land of darkness, he suddenly heard the screams of women from below.

“Ascendunt, niveus”- He commanded his Pegasus to those terrifying screams. As slowly the touched the ground, he raised his sword, ready to be the warrior he was. Then, he heard loud thud. As he was ready to launch himself at the assailants, he saw a sword that stroked like a lightning. He hid quietly under the bushes.

That was when he saw her, the girl he fell for at first sight!
