“Next time, I need to rest now. I still have a lot of work to do.” Miko lied.
“Okay, if you say so. Go back here anytime so that we can talk, again, my new found friend.” Sun laughed.
“Of course. Bye Sun, I’ll go now.” He said, and looked at me, telling me to answer him on his questions tomorrow. Miko hurriedly left the room.
As soon as Miko left, Sun was looking at me. “Are you okay Ray? Is there something wrong?”
“Yeah, I’m okay, Sun. Maybe, I am just tired or something.” I lied, but to be honest, this was a new emotion for me again. It felt like I was like a kid with his candy being taken away when I saw Miko and Sun talking happily. Am I jealous or what?
I should be happy since Miko was able to see Sun already, and Sun wouldn’t feel lonely.
“Are you sure? Do you want to rest?” Sun said and stood up from the bed, fixing the pillows and comforter. Sun was about to go towards the couch, and both of us were shocked by what happened next. My body moved on it’s own and grabbed Sun’s arm, holding it gently. He looked at me confused about what was happening.
“P-please stay here with me, Sun.” I mumbled.
Sun was just standing there, looking at me. I cannot see his face clearly because I was looking down, embarrassed about what was happening. We just stayed like that for a couple of minutes, not saying anything. Those minutes felt like hours because of the emotional torture I suddenly felt. All these emotions were so confusing.
I was about to let go of his hand when I felt that he shifted his body, facing me. He placed his other hand on my head and rubbed my hair. My heart was about to burst because of what was happening.
“I will Ray, if it’s okay with you.” Sun said,
“Of course, and I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable sitting on the couch all night long, especially in the situation you are in.” I said, and let go of his hand.
“Thank you, Ray. I guess you need to rest now. I heard from your friend that a doctor will go here tomorrow to check on you.” Sun said and sat down on the other side of the bed. I stood up and pulled the window a bit so that fresh air could go into our room. The gentle breeze hit my face, calming my senses and my heart.
After a few moments of talking, I did not realize that I fell asleep. Sun was left at my room, just staring at me.
“Thank you, Ray.” Sun whispered in my ear.

That night, I had another dream, and it was still the same dream that I kept on having ever since I went to this farm. There were changes because the once gloomy and creepy dream was filled with laughter and happiness this time.
“Thank you for keeping your promise, my friend.” The kid said and smiled brightly.
