Chapter 1: A Very Long School Day [Part 1]

Addisyn’s POV

I walked to math and saw my teacher Mrs. Smith. She was Madi’s mother.

“Oh, hey Addisyn. It’s been a while since you came over.”

“I guess so, but I’m coming over later for me and Madi's sleepover.” She knew I was a hybrid, along with Madi and her father.

As I entered the classroom for some reasons all eyes were on me. I mean no one likes being stared at, but at least someone recognized me today.

“Everyone pick a partner. They will be your partner for the rest of the year, so choose wisely.”

I tried to walked over to Madi before realizing she was already taken... by a boy. Not just any boy but Henry Bryant: the most popular kid and cute in school. Henry had blonde hair and brown eyes. His brother, Harvey Bryant is equally as popular and cute. He had brown hair and blue eyes. And just before I turned around, Harvey tapped on my shoulder and asked if I wanted to be partners with him. I froze for a second, turned to Madi and she nodded yes to me. One reason they’re so cute is because they both have British accents.

“Sure. One condition, I may look dumb, but I’m not, so don’t count on me doing all the work.”

“That just got awkward.” Harley Morelli said. The sisters are Harley and Hartley. (A.K.A. our best friends ever since Pre-K. We’ve always been in the same classes until middle school.)

“I don’t need your comment Harley.” I said. She put her hands up in surrender and laughed.

“Now that everyone has a partner, introduce yourselves and get to know each other.” Mrs. Smith put in.

“Well, what’s your favorite color.” Harvey asked me.

“Blue, and you?” I replied.

“No way, I love blue too.”

Madisyn’s POV

“What is your favorite color?” I asked.

“Green.” I replied

“Oh my gosh, mine too.” He said with his adorable little British accent.

We went on and on about ourselves for class and then the bell rung and he grabbed my backpack and gave it to me.

“Thanks.” I said.

“No problem.” He replied with a wink.

I gave him a kiss on the cheek and we both turned as red as a tomato.

I turned around and saw Harvey do the same thing for Adi and she kissed him on the cheek.

“High school, am I right?” Adi and I said.
