Why, hello there and welcome to my page. Some of you may know me as Yoyojd from wattpad.com. I\'ve been publishing my stories online since I was a junior year in high school but I\'ve been writing since I was a lot younger. I love anything fiction, although non-fiction sometimes has its gems. I try to write frequently, however, I am currently in college trying to become an English teacher. I am almost done so wish me luck!
P.S. please leave me recommendations. I need a new book to read.
Cassidy Faulker is no stranger to danger. Ever since the zombie apocalypse destroyed her home town, she spends most of her days getting chased and shot at after entering some idiot's territory she isn't supposed to. She doesn't, however, like surprises. She expects the gunfights. What she doesn't expect is to find is her boss begging for her help when she returns home to her apartment. She's a scavenger, not a bounty hunter, but he offers something she can't refuse. Paired with her best friend, she embarks on a journey that takes her through overrun zombie territories and allows her to meet a kind stranger that may just sweep her off her feet.
But this is Cassidy Faulker. She doesn't get swept off her feet.
Most people fear dragons. Most people can't see past their large scales and fierce personalities. Most people can't control them. Yes, they are dangerous. They are also very powerful. Do I fear them? No. Can I control them? Only if I say please. And who am I?
We'll just have to figure that out.
Some talk about the old world like it was a fairytale. One with freedom and equality. Others viewed it like it was the dark ages, believing that they were lucky to be born in such a painless environment. After all, the old world is what destroyed itself. There hasn’t been a war in the past one hundred and fifty years though it was something the past was constantly riddled with.
Well, no war worth mentioning.
In a world of extraordinary individuals, Axel wanted to be ordinary. Unfortunately for him, anything that could be normal about his life was stripped away from him four years ago. Now he walks around with an invisible weight on his shoulders. Terrified that someone is going to reveal his secret, he doesn't allow friends to occupy his life. He stays to himself, not that anyone else minded. He has remained in the shadows, watching the world change around him.
When an old friend dies and leaves him with an unfinished mystery, Axel must force himself out the shadows he had grown to love. With the help of an over eager, goody two-shoes younger classman and a walking cliche of a superhero, Axel fights to solve the mystery.
And maybe, just maybe, accept who he is.
"Princess," my father's voice echoed through my featureless dream, "I'm sorry that I couldn't save you."
"What?" I called out.
"You had a good fight," he said with tears in his eyes as he turned to leave, "I'm so proud."
"Poppa!" I called after him, "don't leave me again!"
A year has passed since my promise for revenge. With a lord of dark magic by his side, Erin seems unstoppable. They've made friends; ones that are powerful.
But so have we...
I made a promise and I intend to keep it.
