Lady Jane

ABOUTquote
I am 52-year-old and happily married for 22 years now with two daughters. We live in the most Southern part of Namibia, Africa. Lady Jane is an author, reader, and devotee to what lies just beyond the horizon of real life. I believe that the imagination of a storyteller is the magic that can transport us over that unreachable horizon to a spot on the map that can otherwise not be reached. The most exciting place to be is in your mind I believe. It is the magical place to build and tell stories that doesn’t exist in real life. My inspiration is life, people and music. While I cannot travel around, I love to travel through reading. I start writing officially in 2017 and I do write under the name Lady Jane. Is a luxury I claim for myself as a writer. Lady Jane is the author of 3 Afrikaans novels and 1 English Story, Bittersweet Dance of Love. This novel originated from a writing course titled How to Write a Novel, taught by Susan Wingate, an award-winning Amazon best-selling author. I finished an 8-month writing course in Afrikaans about General creative writing as well as a short story course. I do study every bit of information on how to improve my writing by making use of American Writers Institute, Writers Digest University and several others. I have done some Review’s of several books as part of review team at Story Circle and Teresa Lynn: https://www.storycircle.org/book_review/monster-child/. What make my stories unique? Medical situations are always part of my novel, which I think makes my stories unique as well as the reality of the scenario’s. I did a degree at UNISA (University of South Africa) in Psychological counselling. Nursing was my profession and it will be always a passion of mine that I left the day I married a farmer. Recently I have taken care of elderly people in my community, frail care. What I do to market myself is making use of Facebook, What\'s-app, Messenger, E-mails, posters and special events.
