A Dove's Tale
Updated at Apr 18, 2025, 03:00
All Ivetta wants is a steady paycheck and consistent hours. Her mother’s health is failing fast, and she has to earn enough money to keep paying the mounting doctor's bills. But a dubious background means finding safe employment is hard. Getting a job as a palace maid seems like the answer she needs, even if she has a long commute. Until she meets her new employer. Prince Chevalier, the Second Prince of Rhodolite, has a reputation for being a cruel, heartless monster. The Brutal Beast. The Bloody Tiger. This is the man Ivetta now works for, and if it weren’t for her circumstances, she would quit after the first day. But although he and his seven brothers are each their own variety of beast, putting up with them is better than the alternative. There are many dangers outside the palace for a vulnerable young woman, after all. When disaster inevitably strikes, she resolves to hide the truth and pretend nothing is wrong, just like she’s always done. She never expects Prince Chevalier to come to her rescue. But he does. And suddenly, he’s the only person with whom she truly feels safe, allowing the roots of an unlikely and impossible romance to take hold. A romance neither of them can let happen. But the heart wants what it wants. Threats against Prince Chevalier become threats against Ivetta, forcing them even closer together. When the pain of loss overwhelms her, she turns to him. When the threats become reality, he’ll do anything to save her. And when the mysteries of her past come to bear, the impossible becomes possible. A glimmer of hope for a brighter future blossoms in the darkness. Maybe, on the other side of pain and heartbreak, is the fairytale ending Ivetta never dreamed was possible.

The Hidden Crystal
Updated at Apr 21, 2025, 19:19
Iris is an orphan leading what she considers a normal life. As the oldest in Father John's care, she works hard to help bring in the money needed to feed and clothe the younger children, and she does it without complaint. Everybody in town knows and loves her. Someday, she'll get married and start her own family, but a war looming over her home makes someday a distant prospect. Then magic invades her simple life, and everything she knows is turned upside down. She's suddenly the center of a war between dragons and humans, and the only person she can turn to for help is a stranger who may or may not be the enemy. Char and his brother Rath are dragons and certified troublemakers. They're a favorite at parties, especially among girls, and a pain in their commanding officer's side. But Char's familiarity with humans earns him a scouting mission that brings with it more trouble than he could ever anticipate: a simple orphan girl. She's too innocent for the tangled web of magic tightening around her, and he's too impulsive to stay out of it, even if that means lying to his brother and risking his life to keep her out of the hands of a psychotic mage. Their adventure is about to begin. ***** Content/trigger warning: There is no explicit content, but themes and content are mature and include instances or mention of alcohol use, blood, child abandonment, death, depression, loss of a loved one, murder, off-screen rape, racism, sexual assault, torture, and violence. ***** Credits: Cover designed by the amazing @Hells07dealer on Wattpad.

Of Ice and Snow
Updated at Apr 5, 2025, 03:00
Lily is a snow witch with powerful magic and a quick temper. Not the best combination. But she keeps to herself, and the few people she lets get close know she has a good heart, and that’s enough for her. She doesn’t need any drama in her life. Too bad she got me as an author. Her next-door neighbor, Pipaluk, is a mad scientist. A good one. His wife, Emma, makes sure of that. She’s basically a saint, putting up with his random explosions while raising their two children and mothering Lily every chance she gets. But Santa’s elves are known for their quick wit and adaptability, after all, and she’s no different. Then there’s Lily’s meddling family. They’re in the North Pole, and she’s not, and that’s how she likes it. Unfortunately, her cousin Crystal still calls to pester her, and her aunt Gemma still meddles in her life. They may or may not trigger Lily’s blizzard-inducing rage from time to time, resulting in out-of-season snowstorms, snowbound towns, and confused meteorologists worldwide. Good thing Lily has a fairy godmother. Wendy is always around to clean up Lily’s messes without her goddaughter ever knowing. It’s a full-time job, especially since giving Lily what she needs instead of what she wants is even harder than erasing the snow witch’s existence from her human neighbors’ minds every time it snows. NASA can’t figure out the strange weather phenomena. Boris needs an enchantress for his newest book. Santa needs Boris’ new book pronto before Mrs. Claus throws a fit. Yeah, Lily definitely got the wrong author if she wants a drama-free life.

A Beast's Tale
Updated at Aug 27, 2024, 03:00
Rhodolite's Second Prince, Chevalier Michel lives up to his colorful monikers of the Brutal Beast and the Bloody Tiger. He has no time or patience for anyone or anything that stands in his way, and he certainly never gives any thought to something so foolish as emotions. Few question him. All fear him. Except for his new maid. ***** This is a fanfiction, but it's accessible to anybody. No prior knowledge of the game is required to understand it. I've been enjoying the stories within the Ikemen series, but I usually feel like the main character is a bit weak, so I started thinking about how the stories would go with a stronger main character. Prince Chevalier in the Ikemen Prince game caught my attention, and thus "A Dove's Tale" was born. Then I thought I'd try writing the same story from Chevalier's perspective. I'd never written from a male perspective before, so this began as a writing experiment and, as with ADT, became a stand-alone story in its own right. You don't have to read ADT first to appreciate this, and although my goal is for both stories to line up with each other eventually, chapter by chapter, I'm not there yet. At the moment, I'm working on an edit/rewrite of ADT, so there are significant differences between it and this version of ABT. The current version of ADT is based on content from reading Chevalier, Leon, Yves, Nokto, Licht, and Clavis' stories in the game. This version of ABT is much older and only based on content from reading Chevalier, Leon, Yves, and Nokto's routes. I wasn't planning on posting this here until I finished ADT and started editing ABT, but Wattpad removed ABT for content violations, so, lucky you, you get it here! Constructive criticism and feedback are very much welcome, and if there's something you like here that you don't see in ADT, or vice versa, let me know, and I'll see if I can incorporate it into my next round of editing/rewriting. I'd like the characters to be as true to the game as possible, so any suggestions or feedback on that front is helpful, too. And there are some Easter Eggs/references to an older Ikemen game called Midnight Cinderella. ***** There is no explicit content, but themes and content are mature. Content Warning: Contains themes of assault, attempted rape, child abuse, depression, extreme violence gore, self-harm, sexual assault abuse, suicide, torture, violent death. ***** Credits: Based on the otome game Ikemen Prince: Beauty and Her Beast.
