But the owner of Raine’s favorite coffee shop is endlessly patient, kind even in the face of sarcasm, and an artist with flavors and window decorations ... and he could even challenge Raine’s resolutions about love. Don enjoys his life. Even though he’s a Frost, he finds comfort in giving people warmth: good coffee, a cozy refuge from the rain, holiday decorations, and overall cheer. But one gorgeous Cupid seems immune to Don’s cheerfulness -- and he keeps coming back, day after day. Fortunately, Don’s always liked a challenge, and now he’s determined to make Raine smile at least once ... and he’s discovering that Raine’s sarcasm hides a generous and lonely heart, keeping the world at bay. And if Don and Raine can learn to trust each other -- with new coffee flavors, with their hopes for the future, and with their hearts -- the Frost and the Cupid just might find their own magical happy ending.

But magic lurks beneath the waves, a stray pearl might be a key to another world, and even the quiet local schoolteacher has secrets of his own. Jeremiah Carver never meant to hide secrets. But he promised to tell no one about the other world he’s seen, and he keeps his word. Even if that means concealing magic from Cadence Bell. And he’s afraid he’s falling for Cade all over again now. When Cadence falls under the siren spell of the ocean’s magic, Jeremiah has to make a choice and return to a world he’s left behind once before to rescue his heart from the sea.

Bisclavret
Updated at Mar 12, 2020, 22:46
A very long time ago, in the very old forests of Brittany, a werewolf loved a king ... The Lord Bisclavret has a secret. A family enchantment. A wolf’s curse, transforming him when the moon is full. He hopes to be a good lord for his people, and he’s always been a loyal king’s man, even if the new king is inexperienced and scholarly. But one betrayal might leave him trapped in wolf-shape forever ... unless his king can save him. Andreas would rather be a University scholar than a king, and has no interest in a royal marriage -- desire’s always come slowly, if at all. But he loves his kingdom, so he’ll try to protect it, even when rumors of a man-killing wolf spread across his land. He’ll pick up a sword and go out on a hunt, and hope to keep his people safe. But the wolf has the eyes of a man, and the scholar-king’s knowledge of folklore and fairy-stories might break a werewolf’s curse ... with the help of love. Very loosely based on the twelfth-century story by Marie de France, Bisclavret features a bisexual werewolf lord, a demisexual king who’d rather be a scholar, some exasperated men-at-arms, and very important stolen clothing.

The Pooka's Share

Faerie horses should at least show up on time. That’s Aidan’s opinion, anyway. He’s been waiting for the pooka all night, to catch it stealing apples from human orchards. This Magical Enforcement Division assignment’s supposed to be easy -- and Aidan could use the break, after a previous case gone badly wrong. But when the apple-thief pooka does show up, it takes the shape of a gorgeous young man ... who doesn’t seem to mind being captured at Aidan’s hands. Ink left his herd to seek out adventure, and he’s found it in the form of a devastatingly handsome MED agent. He’s always been up for a challenge, and Aidan Callahan is certainly that: gorgeous, powerful, and good at his job. Ink’s perfectly happy to let Aidan put a hand -- or an enchanted bridle -- on him, especially with that note of command. It’ll be simple and fun, a decadent magical one night stand ... and Ink knows they’ll both enjoy it. But this night isn’t simple. Ritual magic and Aidan’s own complicated gifts collide, and the family legacy he’s been avoiding becomes important, though Aidan’s starting to think it isn’t as important as keeping Ink in his arms.

Snowed In: Kit and Harry
Updated at Jun 24, 2019, 05:44
"Someone -- or something -- is causing magical blizzards at Fairleigh Hall. The estate is suffering, and the Earl has requested assistance. Constable Kit Thompson, of Bow Street’s Preternatural Division, isn’t especially thrilled to be sent out to the country. At least the assignment gets him away from fashionable London society and his own unwanted celebrity after successfully solving a notorious case. Of course, he’s now trapped at a country estate due to closed roads, snowstorms, and magic, but Kit’s always liked solving puzzles. He’s good at using empathic skills for investigations, and this is definitely a challenge. Besides, the Earl’s younger brother is an irritating and delicious temptation, all blue eyes and muscles and boundless enthusiastic optimism. Kit wants to either shake sense into him or kiss him senseless -- and can’t trust him, either, because if someone’s genuinely sabotaging the weather, everyone’s a suspect. Harry Arden, younger brother of the Earl of Fairleigh, has never met a Preternatural Division constable before, much less a famous and celebrated one. He wants to help. And he wants to make that attractive but cynical constable smile, at least once. But the estate hides a family secret, and Harry knows perfectly well Kit doesn’t trust him ... and for good reason. Still, Harry offers to do what he can to assist with the investigation, and if that means spending more time with Kit, that’s a bonus. When Harry and Kit end up caught by those magical storms, snowed in together at the old hunting lodge, they’ll have to trust each other with their secrets ... and their hearts."

"Companion to A Demon for Midwinter Can a rock star and a half-demon ever get married? That question’s been on Justin Moore’s mind a lot lately, especially now that life’s going so well. He’s moved in with Kris Starr, his very own rock-and-roll legend; he has a new job he loves; Kris’s career is taking off all over again; and he’s happier than he can ever remember being. There is something he wants, though. Justin might be half-demon, but he’s also half-human, and he rather wistfully likes the thought of the whole human ritual of marriage: standing together and saying vows. But Kris has never mentioned the idea. So Justin can’t ask, not when everything else is already wonderful. Kris Starr never planned to settle down, that’s true -- he never imagined he’d want anything other than the rock and roll life. And he isn’t convinced he’s great at domesticity. But he’s pretty sure his half-demon boyfriend wants a very human commitment. And he’s beginning to think finally, maybe, he wants that, too."

Dan’s always liked storms. Tonight, though, he’s stuck staring at his computer and suffering from writer’s block, out of ideas and inspiration. But when an adorable young man knocks at his door, asks to borrow Dan’s kitchen spices, and announces witchcraft’s real and their apartment building needs an exorcism, Dan’s dark and stormy night takes a turn for the magical. Sterling Friday’s among the youngest qualified practicing members of the coven, and this haunted building’s only his third assignment. He’s a very good clairvoyant but less good at proper spellwork, and he could use some help with both ingredients and psychic anchors. He also happens to be a fan of those Daniel Rose novels, and he’s hoping Dan, as a writer, will believe his story and not turn him away. On a night drenched in magic and rain, as ghosts hover in the background, the attraction between them is immediate and elemental."

Love Songs for Every Day

"Companion story to A Demon in Midwinter Kris Starr, legendary former front man of iconic rock band Starrlight, and Justin Moore, the infamous New York Demon and Kris's former manager, don't agree to be interviewed very often. Today they have -- two years after the dramatic events that led to Justin's public outing as a demon, a story which forever entwined with Kris Starr's return to the spotlight, a brand-new critically acclaimed and commercially successful solo album, and on-air declarations of love. On the heels of their return from a triumphant sold-out tour, they've agreed to sit down, get coffee, and talk to the world. About the album, about family, about pro-demon activism and new jobs and ex-boyfriends and dealing with the past. Along the way, they'll cover new record labels, babysitting, classic rock inspiration, the rescuing of cats, and coffee versus tea ... and maybe a few topics they've never gone on record discussing. Like what exactly happened to Justin that night two years ago, and how a demon and a rock star manage to cope with both nightmares and daydreams coming true. And, of course, the importance of love songs."
