ABOUTquote
I love writing, and creating stories. I figured it was about time to share those stories with others.
Life had never been easy for Alexandra Carter. Her parents passed away when she was young, so she moved in with her grandmother. Shadows seemed to follow her through childhood. She suffered from anger and depression, and eventually her grandmother made the difficult decision to send her away. Eight years later, Alex must return home after another horrible accident takes another family member, but her world is turned upside down, and Alex struggles with more than just surviving in this new, darker world.
Alexandra isn’t your average 24-year-old. For starters, she a witch in a society that hates witches. She’s a mute, a maid, and a mother to her 3-year-old niece. Then the unexpected happens, she’s selected to compete for the king’s hand, but quickly learns that things are not what they seem to be. Desperate to get back to her life, Alexandra must fight the seen and unseen forces that conspire in the castle, but will she make it out alive?
Amanda Colemore attends an all-girls boarding school, where she is top of her class, an idol for the other girls to look up to, and is an insufferable bully to those she deems to be weak. After being given too many chances to change her ways, she's sent on a volunteer mission, but it isn’t all it seems to be. There’s a storm on the horizon beyond a simple volunteer mission, but can Amanda survive it?
