So let me give it to you straight up, I\'m not a writer. I\'m a wife, a mother, and a registered nurse who was hit with the 2020 quarantine\'s creative bug. That is one positive scenario to come out of this dumpster fire of a year. I am currently editing five more novels that I have written during this time, and I have five more ideas for novels. My goal is to address real-life issues that I have come across in my nursing career, such as divorce, drug and alcohol addiction, abusive relationships, blended families, terminal illness, abortion, etc. I always give love and respect to the LGBTQ community in my writing, as well. Another thing you should know is that I love a true underdog. The underdog always gets the best story. My cousin has been a huge inspiration during this process, and we love to bounce ideas off each other. Let me say that each novel I write includes a characteristic of myself or my family included to make it more personable or relatable. It could be physical characteristics, sexual experiences or fantasies, music, etc. For example, in Georgia Peach, the main character and I share the same congenital defect in the right eye. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I have with writing them.
