When flames engulfed half of the twilight forest, Dawn, a young forest sprite found herself running for her life when she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. The forest was burning down around her and the creatures of the forest were emerging because of the fire. The residents of the forest are angry and on the verge of a war among the races, but when the Mother of the forest is found dead, the balance in the forest begins to tip, and the forest starts to erupt into an uncontrollable war. Dawn is confronted by Parker, an Alpha wolf who may hold the key to reuniting the residents of the forest, but it will require a union that has been banished for centuries. Feeling the pressures of war pushes two unlikely people together to rebuild the wreckage and protect the future for all the residents of the forest.
