Ariel Williams lived a normal life and getting her degree in Biology. Ariel always loved looking after animals since she was little but, she used to have a wild imagination when she was little. She used to believe that mermaids were real but, as she got older, she stopped believing in them and she focused on her studies to become a Marine biologist. After going for a dive to swim with her father, a storm appeared out of nowhere and then it capsized their boat which separated Ariel from her father. Ariel thought she was going to drown and get eaten by the sharks but, all of a sudden, a mysterious figure saved her and brought her to an island that wasn't on the map. Once Ariel regained consciousness she found out the person who saved her was a merman.
