Author's point of view A luxurious car was abruptly stopped in the middle of a deserted road. Surrounded by the forest, in the middle of the road, with a lot of smoke coming out of it. The man in his late twenties was trying his best to unlock the door of the car. His hands were all bloody and bruised after banging the glass window. He tried to do the same with the windshield, but the drug in his system wasn't letting him. A few vehicles passed his car, but no one stopped to help him out. With passing minutes, the smoke was sitting comfortably in his lungs, and he was losing hope to get out and survive. He was sure of losing his life within a few minutes. He stopped trying to free himself and lay down on the seat thinking about his life. He wasn't the one afraid to die but didn't want to lose his life because of that pathetic, worthless bastard. A lone tear escaped his eyes as he remembered his mom one last time. His eyes were blurry, and he stopped trying to keep them wide open. But before he got completely unconscious, the door of the car opened, and he felt a soft palm on his cheeks. A soft, feminine voice started hitting his eardrum, asking him to open his eyes, to wake up. He forced his eyes open to see a girl with honey brown eyes was putting her hair behind her ears and tapping his cheeks. One of her was shifting from his coughing mouth to her hairs and one was on him. HIS HOPE! “Sir, we need to leave the car, or it will explode. Please open your eyes. You are too heavy for me to even move you, let alone get you out of this car. Please, sir, get up.” The girls yelled as she heard sparks from the car. Her soft, small body was too small for carrying his giant, well-built one. He used each and every bit of the energy left in his body to move out to his car. She, too, used her whole energy to balance his giant body. As soon as they reached the side of the road. The car burst into flames, and due to the force, both of them hit the ground, and the man lost consciousness. After a week! “Hey! look, he is moving his eyes.” “Mate! Can you hear me?” “Steven called the doctor fast.” “ Adriano?” “Can you hear me? Where the f**k is this doctor?” He peeked in the alleyway. Adriano forced his eyes open despite having the worst headache of the year. “Jake.” He groaned due to the pain. As soon as the voice hit his ears, Jake rushed to Adriano's side and made him sit comfortably. “I’m glad, you are fine, mate or the hell will break in Italy. You had been out for a week. That bastard Danilo Rossi will pay for this with his life.” He said, passing him a half filled glass of water. “I wasn't gonna die too soon and he will definitely pay with his life and his beloved business.” He smirked and his steel grey cold eyes shined. “But how did I end up here? He asked as soon as his eyes landed on his bandage hand. “You were drugged, Adriano and the call you got before leaving the meeting was also fake. It was a trap laid for you and guess what, that f*****g John, your driver was involved in this. He malfunctioned your car on Rossi's command. He was his man.” “We have a few more moles.” He added “Where is he?” Adriano asked, gripping the glass tightly. “At the warehouse. Fucker is not ready to open his mouth but don't worry he getting our best treatment.” Jake said and his fingers relaxed. “We got a call from an unknown number and she said that you are unconscious.” Jake added Adriano eyes raised and the flashback hit his memory. How come he forgot those honey brown eyes? “Where is she?” He asked. Jake could see the eagerness in his eyes. The type of emotion he hadn't seen since Adriano's mother went missing. “I don't know. She called, said that you were injured, unconscious and asked us to pick you up from the side of the road in Paris. We picked you up and immediately flew to the US in your private emergency plane as it wasn't safe staying back there.” Jake explained. “Ask our man to gattered all the information about her. Find her!” He ordered. Jake was surprised but didn't question his friend. Soon the doctor came and checked him up. He was his personal one because another wouldn't dare to touch him let alone check him up calmly. “You are lucky Mr Armani. A few more minutes in the car or you would not be here by now.” He said and gave him a few medicine. “ When can I leave?” He asked, looking into deep in the doctor's soul. “Tonight.” He answered and left after taking his permission. Adriano went through his phone and hundreds of messages and missed call from his dad caught his attention. “Jake, get the plane ready. We are leaving for Italy. Dad is waiting for us.” He ordered and Jake nodded in agreement. “Wait! did he know about all this?” Jake nodded his head. “We told him that you got into a small car accident and I told him that we will be back within a few weeks after finishing a few business.” Adriano relaxed after listening to him. The dark side of his life is for him only! No one is allowed in there! NO ONE!
