SOFIA POV Professor Alex in his beautiful tailored suit, greeted all of us with his ever enchanting smile and baritone voice, Good morning class he said, Good morning Sir, we all responded in unison. Today, i will not be available to take the class, gbam he dropped the bombshell. He further explained why he cancelled the lecture, which he said was due to an emergency meeting he is being  summoned  to by the vice chancellor. After which he walked out majestically feeling as if he just defeated his enemies. What! Is this for real, I mean, did that just happened. Oh no, This is so annoying, I cursed under my breath, recalling how I woke up late from bed this morning, running helter shelter and how I almost fainted few minutes back amidst trying not to miss the lecture. I heard my colleagues mutters and clamouring that he should have informed us earlier via our class group instead of making us come only for the lecture not to hold.  I reluctantly stood up from my seat, looked around for my friend who I guess wasn't in class before finally stepping out of the lecture room. I decide to browse so I head towards the faculty relaxation spot just behind the building with the hope of using the Wi-Fi to download movies which will serve as consolation for the time wasted. I settled myself under the cashew tree to enjoy the cool breeze,  amidst setting up my laptop.  I felt a hand covering my eyes and I know there is no other person to do that except my best friend Teni, who luckily came late for the class that didn't eventually hold. I stared at her with a questioning look as to why she came late. We are probably the closest buddy in class, we have been friends since our 100level days as we are in the same department and she tends to be the extremely serious student which made me question her lateness to class today, which she simply explained was due to the fact that she slept very late and woke up quite late. I connect to the internet which was as slow as snail, nothing could be more annoying than that. Today just seems somehow, kai. My friend, sitted beside me had her earphones plugged and was busy listening to music. Suddenly she stood up and told me she needed to get a bottle of Pepsi, her favorite drink. I can perhaps describe her as being addicted with the drink. No day passes without my friend taking a bottle. She asked if I won't mind following her to the cafeteria, which I quickly brush off the idea, knowing fully well that I would be tempted to buy as well, so I simply decide to move back into the faculty for a stronger internet connection with the promise that she will join me there. I packed up my laptop, place it in my bag and walked back into the faculty
