Does principal Jones have a missing tooth? If not so, why is his lower canine empty? Hmm... What would have happened to him to have a missing tooth? Would he have looked better without the missing tooth? Well, either ways it's not entirely noticeable, so it wouldn't matter anyways, and you would only see it on rare occasions, when he is opening all of his tooths and mouth to warn students sternly. Occasions like now. I stare at his mouth longer than usual, as they open widely, uttering words with extreme force to prove his authority not knowing that the student he is adversely warning is long gone. Particularly on his tooth. Way to go kid! I feel a light persistent nudge on my left arm, as I blink my eyes twice wanting to take my attention off principal Jones tooth, and somewhere else - like why is Alicia nudging me? Oh, principal Jones is talking to us. "I sternly hope you both are understanding what I'm saying. The next time such happens, I would not hesitate to punish you despite being new students. Isn't that fair, miss Henshaw?" "Oh... um... Yes... Accurately sir... Accurately fair...Sir." Fortunately I'm back in time to answer his divided question, all courtesy of Alicia. "Then, I presume that would be all. You may leave."Principal Jones dismisses, as Alicia and I both nod our heads, before leaving his office. "Were you even listening?" Alicia utters, the instant we close principal Jones door. "Nah... But he didn't notice right?" I say with smirk on my lips, while Alicia looks at me unbelievably. "Come on, let's go." I say to her, as I start walking when I turn to my left to see Alicia not following me. I turn back at her only to see a huge smirk on her lips, as she begins to chuckle lightly. "What?  What happened to you?" I ask her, hoping that my friend has not started going crazy. "Oh Demica Henshaw, I pray you don't get us kicked out," she says whilst chuckling. I stay put where I am, while she walks closer to me. Surprisingly, Alicia puts her hand over my shoulder, as I look at her weirdly, but she only smirks at me, before finally speaking. "But either way, I like you that way, and I wouldn't trade you for anyone else," I don't know what it is about her statement, but I find myself smiling genuinely happy, and not making any dumb commentary about it. "Well, not with the amount of stupidity in that brain of yours, I wouldn't want to see you die without me." She adds. "And you had to ruin the moment." I stop walking, nodding my head negatively at her, as she chuckles. "Seriously Alicia kang, the first ever nicest thing you say to me, you just had to ruin it. Even I didn't!" I speak, as she only chuckles. "Hey! It's your senior you're talking to, look at your tone!" And she brings it again. Her four months seniority over me. I chuckle loudly in the empty hallways, as our voices echo due to absence of students who have all gone back to their dorms since school has ended. I nod my head in disbelief, before continuing walking from this girl, who I never expected to find this bond with in just three days, but here we are, inseparable like twins. Alicia follows behind me, as she eventually meets up side by side with me. "Hey A!" I bump her by the arm. "Yes Demi?" she rolls her eyes at me. "Want to do something fun?" I ask her, and her expression is something I wish I could take a picture of. Her mouth hangs open, as she stares at me like a mother who is watching her stubborn kid do the same thing she warned her about. "Okay, we really need to check this brain of yours," she says with a mouthful of laughter. "Nope, I am not doing anything fun. We have practice in an hour, and we're still in our uniforms, not to talk about what principal Jones just warned us. Oh, right you weren't listening!" And now she's my mom. "Okay. Sorry mom!" I put my hand up in defense, pretending to actually succumb to her statement. "Come here kiddo," Alicia pulls me to her, resuming her hand back to my shoulder, as she chuckles. "Don't make your unnie (aunt) to have the same brain as you, we would explode the whole school, if that was to happen." she tells me, earning a huge laugh from me. For the days I have known Alicia, she always used to call herself my 'unnie', making me have to ask her the meaning, and she told me it could mean, older sister, older aunt, most importantly, someone older. Yeah, unnie my a*s! We keep on walking, after my huge breakout of laughter due to Alicia's statement, as I decide to tell her what's on my mind, before we get to our dorm.  "Alicia?" I call her seriously, as she turns to me. "I like you too." ------------- Shirtless guy one... Shirtless guy two... Shirtless guy three... Shirtless guy... "Oww," my eyes shut close, as water enters them from an unknown source. It's not like it's raining, so where the hell did the water come from? After some seconds, I am finally able to open my eyes to see Vera the cheerleaders captain, with a water bottle in her hand, smiling slyly. "You poured water in my eye?" I ask her to be sure. "Yes I did." She replies, still with that same smirk that doesn't look apologetic in any way. "Why would you pour water in my eye?" my voice now Stern at the attitude she shows towards me. "Well, maybe if you had been paying attention to these steps I was giving you all, and not drooling like an i***t like you've never seen a guy shirtless before, then I probably wouldn't have done it." Vera says, as the rest of the cheerleaders laugh hysterically at her humiliating words. "Did you just call me an i***t?" my eyes furrows together. "I did," Vera walks closer to me. "what are you going to do about it, i***t?" she snickers at me. "Vera, watch it!" Alicia's voice comes in. "Oh shut it, I'm not talking to you," Vera glares at Alicia. "What's your problem huh?" I start to say. "What's your problem with me? Ever since I came here, you've been nothing but mean to you. I don't know you, neither have I met you before." I tell her straight to her face. Vera is a feet or two taller than me, so she's towering my height. "You're right, I don't know you either, I just don't like you and if you want to be on this team, you better watch this attitude of yours or go back to where you came from." she places a hand on her waist, eyeing me as she talks. I look at her deviously, giving her the same look on her face. One thing I hate, I hate mean and rude people, and Vera's attitude is just the definition of what I hate. "Like I even want to be here anyways, hate me or like me, that's your freaking business, I don't care. You hear me?" I tell her to her face, as her expression changes. "Eat your team, I'm out!" I add. "Demi... " Alicia comes to me. "I mean it Alicia, I'm done here. I would not stay here and be insulted, when I can clearly do better with my time." I speak to Alicia. "Yeah, good for you. Pack your things and leave," she snickers making me glare at her. "Can you stop being a b***h!" my voice surprisingly raises, as Vera's eye widens.  Before Vera can say another word, Alicia pulls me away to the side after hissing at Vera's attitude. "Demi, I know that Vera is a b***h, but can you think about this again, this is an extracurricular activity for your grades," Alicia reasons. "I know that A, but I can't stay there, Vera clearly hates me and I have no idea why, do you still expect me to stay there?" I ask her, but she remains quiet. "But, what about your grades? They're going to fall if you don't take an extra curricular activity," she tells me. I sigh, using my hand to cover my face, clearly not knowing what to do.  "I don't know, I clearly can't go back now, I already said I quit, and unless I want to lick her feet she'll never let me back, which is clearly not going to happen. Over my dead body," I reject it, with a scrowl on my face. "Okay, okay Fine. We'll figure it out, you need to ease down your mood, so let's go." Alicia begins to pull my hand when I stop her. "Wait... Wait Alicia, where are you going? I'm going to get a place to cool off, but where are you going?" I ask her. "To cool off too, of course. If you're quitting, then I am too. I'm not dealing with that plant Aloe Vera alone, "Alicia utters, still trying to pull me with her. My chuckles are the one to stop Alicia in her motion, as she looks at me surprised.  "Did you just call her a plant?" I chuckle again, as Alicia joins me. "I even pity the plant, because she is a disgrace to one," Alicia adds, making me chuckle loudly. "But really, you can't quit, I can't let you and I know how persistent you can be, so please don't do this. It's my problem, I'll definitely find a way for it," I stop laughing. "Look Demi, I said I'm quitting so... " "Don't do that A, don't do it. Don't make my problem yours, I said I'll find a way, so dont worry about me, " I assure her. "But I do Demica, I do worry." She tells me sincerely, making me realize how deep she means that. "Okay, fine I won't quit, but we're going to find a solution, maybe talk to principal Jones," she tells me, as I nod admittedly. She looks at me worriedly, but I smile at her reassuring her and not myself, because I'm not even sure of what I'm going to do. Peach potters high, requires a number of 8 classes, along with an extracurricular activity which boost up your GP to a certain number. The extracurricular activity, is one of the major that completes your GP, and without that you have a high risk of failing, unless you're a straight A students and grade your other classes excellently. "Don't worry about me A, Go. I'll be fine, I'll meet you back at the dorm," my hands leave her's, before she leaves me. I walk away from the field, walking around the interior of the school, when I see a basketball court. Peach potters high, is admittedly huge even for a boarding school. We have so many equipments, and facilities we need to achieve a good education. There's the pool, different fields for sports, - such as, the basketball court, football field, and a separate field for cheer leading practice, a volleyball ball court, labs of different uses, library, canteen, dinning hall, and so many others like a vacation resort. Thankfully, I see the ball by the side, as I pick it up, and bounce it repeatedly, trying to take my mind off the recent situation. How can a person just hate someone you don't even know? What did I ever do to her? And she called me an i***t! Oh my God, I am definitely not going to take it easy with Vera. If she ever says anything mean to me again, or fights me, I would definitely not relent also. "Nice moves!" I was so busy bouncing and scoring the ball, that I didn't know someone was watching me. I turn back to a guy in a jersey, holding a smirk on his lips, as he walks closer to me. Funny enough, he looks familiar, but I can't place where I saw him. Maybe from one of my classes or someone I have seen in the hallways. "Oh it's you!" he says, making me furrow my eyebrows in confusion. Does he know me? "Thank you, but I'm sorry do you know me?" I ask, holding the ball tighter. "Of course I know you. You're pervy," "Wait what? Pervy?" I ask, chuckling funny.  "I think you have me misunderstood with someone else. That's not my name," I tell him, seeing him walk closer. "Oh no, I'm not mistaken I know you. Aren't you the one who barged into the boys locker room?" he says. Wait what? Oh my God Oh my God Now I remember where I know him from. Holy s**t!  He's the guy from the boys locker room, who said 'Oh, it's the new students'. Oh s**t  s**t s**t! "Remember now?" he chuckles, taking my silence for an answer. "What? No, I don't remember. Like I said I think you have me mistaken," I lie. I can't possibly admit that it was me, though he seems pretty sure it is me. Oh Demica! "And like I said, I know I'm not. You came in with your friend. The auburn hair girl," he adds,  showing off his dimple as a smirk stays on his face, knowing that he's got me. "Nope, I don't remember," I deny again. "Really... Is that so Pervy?" he says again, calling me the p*****t that I'm not. 'Well you technically barged into the boys locker room.' Unintentionally. It was unintentional. 'But you don't regret it?' Nope I don't. "Stop calling me that, that's not my name," I tell him, straight to his face. Staring at him, makes me realize just how handsome he is. His brown hair shuffled like a hand has been run through it many atimes. His dimple on his left cheek making them prominent when he smirks, his chiseled facial structure like that of an ancient immortal Greek mythology. Damn! "But you are one. I do have a picture to prove it, " he's now very close to me. A picture? They have a picture of us? I'm so screwed. But wait, how do I know he's not lying. But what would he gain from it? I don't see anything he can. "But, how about we see if I can stop calling you that," he adds. "What do you mean?" I ask. "If you can score the ball from me, I'll stop, but if you can't, then I win," he snickers mischievously at me. Jerk! I know I just met him, and I shouldnt be calling him that, but no matter how handsome he is, how can he call a lady like me a p*****t? That's so disrespectful! As Alicia would put it, if she was here. "Then what about the picture?" I ask him concerned. "That's for me to decide. Let's see what you can do with a ball," he smirks. Jerk again! My basketball skills aren't bad, in fact I'm good at it, but at the same time I don't know just how good he also is. But do I even have a choice? It's not like he's giving me any other alternative. "Alright boy, bring it on!" and it is my turn to snicker.
