Debbie's Journals

The sun shines across the beautiful blue sky. Debbie's room is in a mess. The floor is littered with clothes and her boxes haven't been arranged. It looks like a dumping ground. The family had just arrived konnichiwa, a place in Tokyo, a busy and largest city in the country of Japan. " Beep-beep-beep-beep"The alarm clock beeped out. Debbie, a light attractive and charming young girl having a dark long hair,long enough, almost touching her waist. She wakes up having mixed feelings about her present situation. she's happy leaving Mexico City and her past and coming to live in Tokyo. who wouldn't be happy? She's also anxious about this new city she found herself in. And the worse aspect of it is that she's tired. seeing the messy room gives her headache. Just then a middle aged woman, White and smooth skin, having short hair touching her shoulders, and her almond eyes bold enough to prove that she's an Asian woman. That's Debbie's mum, her name is Sara meaning "vivid blossom" she changed her name to Sarah when she got married to her father (Nicholas), seventeen years ago. "Debbie, can you come and assist me with the house chores" Sara asked. " But the home services cleaners were supposed to do the cleaning, why am I involved? Debbie told her mum. "yes I know but we have to do things fast. Uncle Matt is on his way. and you know he must not visit us with a house like this" Sara told Debbie. "what!!!!!!!" Debbie screamed. Uncle Matt is Debbie's Father elder brother, he too lives in Tokyo, he has two boys, Owen, a twenty years old guy and Obed, a naughty and stubborn seventeen years of age. Debbie hates Obed, he usually gets on her nerves. Sara nodded her head as a 'yes'. Debbie couldn't believe her ears "How many more families are coming? She asked knowing fully well that her mum is a 'people freak'. She invites people at any slightest ceremonies. "oh yes. I invited the Neighbors around" She said with a happy eyes "what!!!!! is this going to be a big party?" Debbie asked with her eyes widely opened in shock. "yeah. There is nothing bad in having a big party for house warming." Sara said with a smile. "mum! can't we for once have a family party where no one else is invited?" Debbie pleaded with her mum, who was already heading towards the door. "whatever" Sara said weaving her hand off " Just come downstairs and assist me" Sara said leaving. ................................................................. Now, the large living room is well decorated and neatly arranged. Debbie made a sign of relief when she heard one of the cleaners telling Sara that she had arranged their room. " mum, I'm going to change my dress"Debbie said, running upstairs without waiting for her mum response. Some minute later Debbie begins to hear the clinging of plates. She knows that the delivery bus is here after seeing the food company's van. Debbie went to her laptop. she wanted to start watching Netflix when she heard the opening of door and voices of people. "they are here" She heave a sigh. Debbie change her clothes, she wears the red long gown her grandmother gave her, and applied a little makeup. Dan knocked on Debbie's door telling her to come out. Debbie wishes that something should happen that will keep her inside all day. Debbie became an introvert after what happened between her friends and her ex-boyfriend (Jeffrey). She sigh and walk out of her room. ................................................................. The living room is filled with varieties of people, even her mom younger brothers are around. Just then her mother came along with her so called new friends from Japan. "This is my daughter, her name is Debbie' Sara said smiling. "wow! she looks beautiful!" One of the women said admiring Debbie's beauty. "Beautiful? this is what some crazy guys are dumping"Debbie thought walking out of their mist. "hello! are you the daughter of Sara" A light and plump girl, with a black permed hair, having an average height asked Debbie. They are the same age. "yes and why did you ask?"Debbie asked with a questioning eyes. "I am Himari, your new Neighbor. your mum invited us. She's a very free and friendly woman. look at how she has made a lot of friends. it's really rare. She was able to invite the Minato's family." Himari said. "The Minato's family? who are they?"Debbie asked anxiously. "They are one of the richest family in the society. They are even more famous for their only son, Ren" Himari said "Ren? who's he?" she asked "He is the most handsome guy in the society. Girls are always trying to talk to him. look" Himari said to her as she points to a tall guy with some girls trying to talk to him. Debbie was speechless. She was carried away. There is Ren, a tall and handsome guy with a dark hair. He has the look of a model or a star. As Debbie keeps staring at him, Obed came. "God what is he doing here. Trying to spoil the good mood." Debbie keeps saying this in her mind. "Hi lady! why are you dressed in this. You looked like a widow. oh sorry! you just got divorced. Maybe this the reason he dumped you. you are not sexy!! Obed said out loud for everyone to hear him, laughing mischievously. Some youth there were laughing. Debbie ran out, Been Embarrassed. She ran out to the garden. Debbie met Kyra and Kara playing with their friends. Kyra and Kara are Debbie's younger cousin. They are twins born by Uncle Lexie( Sara younger brother) and aunt Junnu (an Indian woman). They are very beautiful having both the look of a Japanese and Indian children. Debbie waved at the kids and went to sit in a quiet place at the end of the garden She looked around, she keep asking her self "why me", as tears running down her face. she was crying so bitterly. yes she's the first child of a rich family, she has everything, she is pretty, She's talented, but remembering her past it made her feel like she nothing. Does this mean a bad luck for her? The beginning of her journey in this foreign land started with embarrassment. Now she'll be the talk of the Town. This was so heavy on her chest that it even made her cry more. will she regain her happiness back?, will she go back to the girl she was?. "Aunt Debbie, are you crying? " Kyra said, touching Debbie's back while bending. "oh it's nothing. you can go and play I want to be alone" Debbie said "Are you trying to chase us away" Kara asked "No that's not what I meant" "Nevermind" Kara said leaving "let go! she doesn't want to play with us" Kara told her other sister. she then pulled her away. Debbie kept crying. She had that strong feeling that everyone hates her. Just then something shocking happened that changed this first day in Debbie's life. "You don't have to mind them. That's how boys today are. The don't respect girls. And besides you don't have to take it to the heart. You don't have to ruin your beauty and pride for Trash like that". That person said. Debbie didn't know who was sitting beside her, she knew she heard a guy voice. She taught it was Owen, Obed Elder brother. Anytime Obed does something like that. He would come and apologize. As she turned her head to look at the person..... It turned out to be Ren, That handsome guy!!! she went blank. Could she be dreaming. She couldn't say anything. "Hello, I'm Ren." He said letting out a hand shake. "Debbie..... Debbie is my name" These were the only words that came out of her mouth. she then shakes his hands. It was the warmest hand she has ever shaken. " And was your boyfriend blind to the fact that he didn't know he just lost a beautiful Angel. Girl, you are amazing" Ren said softly. ......And the shocked Debbie couldn't say anything..................... lesson: Even when life put you down, when everything is gone, when you feel hatred from everyone, when you ain't loved. That's not the best time to give up. Just look up,there is a smile in that problem. Never give up.
